I've been a premium member for maybe over 2 years. Not only is the pricing model abhorrent with charging for my existing uploads. They changed the monthly credits from 50 to 20 per month. They also removed so many features. One example is ai photos that were perfect and super easy to use gone. No longer available to use. Uninstaller, unsubscribing, DON'T DOWNLOAD THE APP ZERO STARS !. It's fine when it works, but if you see this message 'Exception: Photo Conversion Failed' then you won't be able to use the app and have to uninstall and reinstall and that might help it work but most of the time that's the only thing that pops up. Plus now you have to buy points if you want to faceswap. It use to be that you got a certain amount of points a day.. It's OK. The results are better now there's a updated version but they messed up bad when they changed the way your use the swaps. Before they charged credits to upload then you could use that upload to do swaps unlimited times. Now they charge for every swap which is stupid now I'll never use again. They got greedy I hate when they take advantage of you like that. And it was always over priced even before..
Scam!!! I paid for unlimited and after using it about six times It's telling me I'm all out of credits and I have to pay more? Well that's not unlimited? Really? Also, you used to be able to do deep fakes for anything, and now you get all these issues popping up with copyrights and things like that. I get copyrighted for things that are just a picture a generic picture? Makes no sense! Don't waste your money!. Download the HappyMod app if you have android. Then search for the Facemagic app mod and change the phone settings to allow the Facemagic premium mod. If everyone reading this does what I'm saying it will eventually bring prices back down to how the used to be. Had the app for so long I seen them inflate prices and strip credits. Thank me later..
It worked until the last update. Now I can't even log in it just refreshes the but doesn't say anything is wrong with the auto and manually putting it in. Right after I spent money too so I have 130 credits that I can't use.. Rubbish app made by greedy developers. It charges you $15 for a week and only gives you a few credits, and since every creation costs a certain amount of credits, you don't get any back and it does not refresh, so you have to spend $15 more dollars for 20 credits, and so on. These developers are terrible people, don't give them any money.
I would give if a 5 stars because I used to love this app, but now, every time I try swap faces with kpop dancing videos mind you it's not inappropriate it's people dancing to kpop they are fully clothed too and it's saying it's inappropriate. How is that inappropriate!!!. This once was a great app. I have paid the subscription for months now. And, could usually swap face with anything not anymore. I do believe that if people are paying for your subscription price they should get what they paid for. No your limiting what faces we can swap. Look at your rating face off. If you need support in any way, even after they raised the prices, when you send in the email they just pretend they don't know what you're talking about. About. I sent an email saying that I was not being credited my monthly credits for an annual plan and then they keep sending me the same email over and over again telling me to resubmit. Give them my ID sales ID all these other IDs. But when you write the complaint inside of the app it already sends that information in the email. I am very mad.
Does not work. I paid for the pro version which costs 10 dollars. Then I found out in order to upload my own video and swap faces, you have to buy credits. So, I paid another 10 dollars for credits. I went thru the steps and when I downloaded the swapped face video, there was nothing changed. The video was the same way I uploaded it. So, after several tries, more dollars, same results, I have determined this does not work. At least for me.. Hag ke bagal aap hai koi kaam ka nhi hai. So amazing! Don't spend tons of money on expensive photographers for awesome pictures! I have used other AI apps and face magic is the absolute best!! Make your dreams come true and see yourself in videos and your favorite pictures and poses!!. In the last 6 months, this has become the worst app! I am not going ro renew my subscription until and unless they stop charging me for every swap. Also the edit photo feature has also disappeared! They are on a suicide mission!.
Terrible Customer Support. I paid for an annual subscription in November, I lost my Pro access for no apparent reason. Spent over a month asking support to fix it and received very little help. I eventually asked for a refund and they directed me to Google Play where I can't request a refund as it is past the 65 day limit.. This app used to be fun, but they removed all content. No more funny face swaps. Now, if you pay for pro membership, you can only upload your own content, and they limit how much you can actually upload before they charge you more. Worthless.
Guys switch over to FaceSwapper. It's way better and more accurate and no "inappropriate image" message and no celebrity locked images. $40 a year with unlimited access. Take advantage now before they get greedy like FaceMagic did. Ps. It's available in the play store.. Used to be my go to app for faceswapping and works very fast. First they removed all the numerous free demo clips, but then they swapped it from you pay a credit for every 15 secs of upload and swap it something like 50 times, to now you get free upload and have to pay a credit for every 15 secs you swap. They got far too greedy. Now I use faceswapper..
A great example of what over-the-top greed looks like. Credits cost more, and everything costs credits. Like, seriously? They brag about allowing 10 minute uploads, but you won't have close to enough credits to upload and mod a 10 min vid even with a subscription. Are these guys trying to end their own app? I think everyone should stop using this until they switch things back to charging only for uploads and giving subscribers 50 credits instead of 20.. It's not good no more. You have to pay for credit for videos that you already made and to redo and we gotta pay again. for clips and pictures I already have saved I will not be rescribing to this app.
Such a bummer that the app creators got greedy. I had countless videos uploaded that I would redo every time they upgraded the AI and got an even better result cause of it. They would only charge credits for an upload, not to redo already uploaded videos. Well, not anymore. Every creation costs credits now, regardless of whether its a new or old video already saved. Not to mention they even charge to swap pictures now! Those used to be unlimited. It really became all about the money.. Use to be a good app. But for us that already paid to upload now we have to pay again to recreate is not right. Came out with new options that were good. Took them away now extra features are not good anymore..
You sign up for one membership where they promise you credits and a certain price, then randomly they changed the price they gave you less credits they changed how you do face swapping so it uses up five times more credits at least and they did all of this without you approving it. Seems illegal to be able to sign somebody up for a year membership only two charge you more money in the middle of that membership and change the membership terms and agreements. Class action to get our money back?. Used to be my favourite app to use for swapping/merging faces onto movies and action stars in clips and gifs. App forced me to update software and in doing so has added all the additional extras for doing what was once free to use. You can pay an annual subscription cost of 49.99. No thanks! I'll uninstall and find somewhere else to go was fun while it lasted (like most things these days! All about the money! ).
The features they added were great then they took them away. I assume it's because they're tweaking them but if for any reason this app gets 1 star because the company has awful communication and response issues. The new credit system is also a bit of a bait and switch for those of us who have paid for it over a long period of time. We're now paying for a half functiong app.. Upsetting I had so many funny videos and laughs with friends now the app is disappointing the lay out just isn't appealing anymore I was downloading it to my new phone and was going to pay but I can see it's not the same anymore.
Much the same as with everyone else, it was pricey before but just about worth it and now it's just not worth it at all, for features you can get elsewhere cheaper, just not necessarily in one place. I've been using this for a couple years now and it was great and when they did the update allowing you to upload 10min videos it made this app A 5 star gem ! But I don't know what they were thinking making it that you gotta pay FOR EVERY SINGLE CREATION ON TOP OF PAYING FOR UPLOADING THE VIDS. Which is a completely overpriced, ridiculous idea. Before you would just pay for uploading the video which is reasonable. Now they want to be Icarus and fly too close to the Sun. We all know how that ended. After a forced migration to "2.0" stole a ton of user pre spent money, the developer has now stripped away all the features that were supposed to somehow make up for it. so now it's completely useless. dev doesn't even have the decency to list changes in the app description or even in the app. you just sigh in to see how youre being bamboozled today..
This app used to be fun with photos gifs and videos from movies and TV you could face swap and an option to upload your own at a charge, now all the photos/videos/gifs have been replaced by a handful of wedding photos??? And you are charged for EVERYTHING and almost every upload is "prohibited" UNSUBSCRIBE.....sooo Disappointing the latest update really killed this app.. Great at what it does and the new features are nice, can't wait to see what comes in the future. Update, face tracking is sad and the token cost unreal. Even worse now that the AI features are gone, that was at least a little fun. Don't waste your money here..
Update- all new features options have been removed, what gives, if thats the case I need a refund; It's just crashing now, before it had long delays uploading even a 20-second video. If that can be fixed, I'll give it more stars.. Charging extra for taking features. I'm incredibly upset. This used to be the go to but with thier new pricing module I'll never use again and recommend everyone to Uninstaller or keep scrolling for a better app. This one hit us with the classic EA bs.
