Incredible atmosphere, a crazy game system, as well as a bunch of interesting characters. At any time you can use any of them, and experience their attack and other unique qualities. After that, it’s your enemy’s turn, so you have to be very careful and look around. Some of the opponents will quite easily be able to destroy your entire group. That is why you need to constantly wind up your heroes, do the impossible and monitor the situation.
The story begins with the main character Aldo deciding to team up with his adopted sister named Feinn. Then they gather new heroes into their team in order to significantly combine their efforts to destroy opponents. The game turned out to be with high graphics, crazy sounds, and also with a variety of special effects. The whole combat system is well designed, so you can experience it yourself and get incredible satisfaction from it. You must go through this whole world, destroy any enemy and become the only winner.
Game is great but some chars need a new kit. Feels like a real rpg unlike many phone games. No crummy auto battle skinner box stuff here.. worst log in issue ever!! can't pass the confirming update, it auto crash. EDIT: Problem already solved for me, but i missed lots of wonderful rewards so 2 star.. Very nice game,its just that the loading time after opening the game takes too long,and its downloading updates takes too long as well even though im using a fast internet connection. 2113 (that's 211.3k free gems) pulls nets me 48 5* heros (which includes 26 dups). The rates are rigged/low (wfs been found guilty of gacha rate fruad in Japan earlier) and different from those just starting out as pulls from new players almost always net them featured banner characters compared to existing players with various 5* chars in their rosters. With such rates it makes the game repetitive and dull fast. Not for new players.. Read through reviews I have s8+ phone no problems running this game at all. My deal is I'm getting late game now and no 5* healers .... 4* healers don't cut it got to use 2 healers sometimes that's not enough won't be spending any more money on this until they fix this issue 5* healers are a must have late game it really sucks hoping the gotcha system gives me one until then I am stuck where I'm at dungeon wise what's wrong with having more than one op healer in a gotcha system that's so stupid!.
These developers managed to lose my account even though it was connected to Google. Their data recovery form is impossible to fill out because the last time I played was years ago and they want to specific of information.. The side questlines are vastly superior to the main story imo. It's really annoying some are gated by main story advancement and annoying areas like Snake Liver Damaku.. Everything about this game is really great. It's JRPG use Japanese Language really recommended. Game is most generous even gacha still gacha, this game has no pity but almost free characters can do story almost easy. Not really pay to win game but supporting developer always been great. So ya this JRPG game is GREAT. Also dont forget to get your first month subscription for free, that would help your progress a lot with *5 Character Selector.. Used to be one of my favourite games then my phone broke and it wouldn't let me use FB transfer to transfer it to my new phone.
I played the Japanese version for the longest time so I'm happy that the English version is coming out so I will know what the story truly is. Can't wait!!!. I decided to come back and the game synced with my Google account so I no longer have to worry about losing all my progress. I'm so happy now. I was absolutely loving the game but the update process is broken. I wait 15 minutes for it to check updates then it gets stuck on update 2/2 at 0% for 30 minutes. I can't take it anymore.. best game I've played so far, the story got me hooked and the characters and mechanics are pretty cool, if you are looking for a good single player story game, this Is by dar the very beat u can find if u like turn base combat. Great game, a tribute for classic JRPG. Great story and great BGM. But, my only problem is the patch update data download is unbelievably slow, like really really slow. Please fix this in the future update. Beside that, it's really really a great game. Edited: because of the big patch size, please consider enabling background minimized data download in the future update..
So, recently I have been able to play this game and I once again got really absorbed into this. The gameplay itself is really simple and the story is really nice too. There's tons of content to do overall, honestly I just love this game and this is definitely one of my favorites. However, sometimes my game crashes whenever I'm just traveling or battling which kinda sucks since I'm just trying to enjoy the game. I just hope that this doesn't happen continuously. Honestly a great game!. Great game, I enjoyed the story and the character arts are so pretty. I just wish it was easier to get some chrono stones. Literally every quest just gives you like 10-20 each. And each of these quests takes you at least 25-30 minutes to finish. The rewards aren't so generous, and it sucks. I wish it was a little bit more rewarding and also there should be a "skip" feature for every dialogue.. You guys need to work on that talking speed cause even though the game has the auto button but these tons of sidequests are taking too much of players' time only to have conversation. At lease, you have to add more speed to the auto button add another button to skip. Since some sidequests are similar with the others I'm afraid players can get pretty boring pretty quick.. Do NOT spend real money on this game. As a free to play it's fun and the music is great. But you can spend 200-500$ to try and get a single unit you want in there banners with NO pitty system. Considering there's 5 elements and 4 characters per team is ideal you can see how fast that adds up. Do NOT DO IT.
A brilliant RPG game that contains great depth in the story and the characters. Quite a lot humor there. A real gem that have features to let us grind and constantly new features to make the game look fresh. The battle is not repetitive or meaningless as in some other mobile RPG. Many mission or farming are achievable in a reasonable timeframe. The gatcha can be brutal that the rate for the 5* characters can be really low and I end up having other characters after some draw.. The worst account transfer system I have ever seen. They claim connecting to Google or Facebook will save progress but when you try to get it back nothing works. Only way to get it back is to set up a transfer ID which will get lost over the years. Customer support is completely unhelpful. Sad to see since I like the game.. I loved the game but I decided to come back and it's become all about money. To change your characters to a better class you have to get tomes which you have a 0.1 chance of getting, depending on the dungeon. It feels like they are taunting players. It basically forces players to spend a crazy amount of money or play something else. Just play something else. It's a shame because the game has so much unique content.. So far so gd... Quest not boring and storyline pretty interesting. Back to play again after fews year, even though I lost my previous record I won't mind to replay it again..
honestly love this game .. I really really hope that it gets an offline mode someday instead of just vanishing forever like other mobile games :c I would pay for a switch port, heck id pay for an android offline version if I could keep it indefinitely, this game is that good!. Stellar system killed the game for me, not recommended for new player since you won't go anywhere unless you reroll like crazy. Even an occasional spender like me get shafted because you can't get stellar unit from star dream encounter.. Basically, the game is pretty good. But what makes it bad, as always with Japanese games, is the connection. Any action requires a connection, but every time I connect it takes a lot of time (3-5s, don't tell me it's nothing, the average response speed for normal is from 0.05 to 0.1 seconds), what about the game launch? 3 to 5 minutes, if there is an update that needs to be downloaded, sometimes I can't play at all, especially at night. It makes me sick!. Would be great if Free Banners had some sort of pity system. One could spend 20k CS and still get nothing from the banner..
Some puzzles in map aren't so enjoyable and after many years there's still no skip story even just for side quest.. It was great until.it stopped loading. I tried starting a new game and it wont even finish the download.. I cannot believe it. The complexity, The story. This 1 like many games in 1. And as the game progress theres also splitting party. Remarkable!. So far, so good! The game combines classical JRPG turn-based combat and gacha mechanics. My opinion is that both mechanics are very well implemented. Gacha isn't too pushy and you can earn the "premium currency" via in-game achievements quite easily. Worth a try if you like classical-ish JRPG..
If you have time to waste and love RPGs, this is a great single player experience with tons and tons to do. Highly recommend it.. Enjoying this game for it's story and it's ideas. Just moved to a different phone, Honor Magic 5 Pro, got everything transferred and then an update and now the Play Store says: "The app is not available for this device". So I moved back to my old device, rather unhappy! Tried to find out on the internet, got nothing. Anything you guys can do?. CRASHES a lot when opening the game and its not about internet or device.. LOOK INTO THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE... The rest is fineee. I've never had problems with this game the years I've been playing, except after the update for the anniversary it stopping working on my phone it would constantly say there was an update and then the game would crash. I cleared the cache, Uninstalled it and reinstalled it and nothing worked..
This game is decent for passing the time, since it's free. But nothing I would ever spend money on. The story is forgettable, the side quests are straight up boring and most of the dialogue is really lame. Also they blatantly ripped off a major character from Chrono Trigger. A talking frog swordsman that's loyal to the kingdom and named Cyrus? Come on. Do better. The fact that they have a $36 MONTHLY sub is completely laughable. You can get what the sub gives you by just playing the game.. I had played this game before and enjoyed it, but I downloaded it this time and it won't let me get pass the gallery of dreams at the beginning of the game so I had to uninstalled it, very disappointed. Way to log to get in everytime to play the game. Took ages to even download as well. Needs a quick fix on this. Can't be bothered to wait that long everytime.. Slow burn, JRPG, severely underrated with godly OST. The side stories are well written and enjoyable with some outstanding one (Sword and wings mythos), All the collabs are done amazingly with respect to the source material, Extremely hard to get into because of awful download experience. Still my favorite mobile game to ever exist..
Its a very good game, and very nice story. If only you have a voice over. I hate reading constantly. Please add voice over. The mix of tales of phantasia and eminence in shadow as side quest was superb! I hope to unlock more side quest! . Update: WHERE IS SKIP BUTTON??? SO TIRING CLICK THE DIALOGUE AND ANIMATION!!! JUST TAKE ME TO BOSS ROOM, SO HARD AND TOO LAZY TO SOLVE THE MAP PUZZLE!!! ANIMATION ZONE IS TOO LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG JUST ICON IS ENOUGH!!! STILL HARD TO GET FREE CHRONOS STONE!!!. Can even load my game and I had so much progress still a good game but not much if you can't load it.
A fun and addictive game with old school battle mechanics. However, on android constant apps unresponding and crashes makes starting the game a hassle. Some times you have to require data if you datat doesn't sync. Also gatacha "encounters" are very expensive. I would likely avoid this this game if you are a new player.. Is there anyway you can update the software to work with the backbone? I want to enjoy the game better when using a controller. Love the story, the art, the music, and the little mini games. I don't really read the character quests because it feels a little boring, but I do love the other quests/collabs/episodes that this game offers. The gacha could have better rates, but when you do get a good character, although it may take quite some time grinding, they can become pretty strong. If you are a perfectionist gamer like me, be ready to grind. I have taken breaks from the game before because of the massive grinding.. z fold unable to download the game data during booting the game the first time. Can't play the game yet..
my internet speed is 100mbps but why the download in game will took a lot of time to download it's like 1mbps.. Theres a problem in downloading ingame resources it takes too long to download and it restarts downloading after downloading 4gb out of 7gb. A great game, but yeah it's gacha but it's worth your time, the story is intriguing, the character is diverse and so is their story. You can still get free stuff by grinding, but all i can tell you if you like it the first one hour. You'll play it for more.. Guys just play another game .in this one 99 percent of the time you will be stuck downloading stuff .other bigger games take 5 mins while this one takes hours upon hours ..
After the latest update I'm getting a 120~ 150mb patches shoved down my throat on daily basis... That's not cool at all! Especially when I want to play the game and I have a limited time before the day resets or something only to get the damn patch that takes AGES to download even on a fast net. This is outrageous.. I Would be really grateful if you can increase the chance of getting 5 Star Hero even if it just 1% because 0.40% and 0.80% is really a small chance, To gacha you need 1000 and just to get 1000 I need to clear numerous mission and taking so much time, I Spend like 3000 But still not even a 4 star of banner show up. The only problem is the gacha is too expensive and the rate of getting 5 Star is so small. Overall everything is good about this game.. I literally can't play because it keeps on freezing after I hit the continue button, then it just boots me back to the start screen. I really like this game story but when startup this game upon downloading on new device, the loading doesn't seem to finish. It takes me 1 day until the app said it not responding/crash. .
Game is good, but the fact that I need to redownload everything after a new patch comes in is ridiculous, also the download speed is slow even though I have a high speed internet. I will appreciate if you will at least find a way to fix this issue instead of not caring about it.. Story is too childish for my liking. Rates are pure BS with no pity system after 4years. Game is not performing well, so here come the stellar awakening which I guess will boost the game income in the early days but the fundamental problem of the game still persist. I Guess WFS is better off focusing on HBR.. It was good at the beginning but then it started becoming very repetitive it had too many side quests that were just popping up everywhere that was just busy work and the story didn't feel as Chrono trigger as I was hoping. Did not give me any memorable feelings whatsoever. Didn't have the combo attacks like I was hoping. To compare this game to Chrono trigger it was a shame and the game never ends!!!!!. This game is fantastic had trouble with the download when I hit download all at once but when I downloaded it while playing seem to work just fine no issues.
Stupidly large 2Gb download before you can even start playing the game. That wouldn't be a huge issue if it was even a remotely fast connection, but it's downloading 0.1% every 5 seconds or so. So with that kind of speed, that means it would take over an hour to download. Yeah, I think I'm ok. Deleted. How the f is your rate up even work???? Burn all my 15k stones for 150 pulls on a banner just to get 1 very old useless five star unit. You guys r crazy. If you're new and f2p just stay away from this game. The pull rates r the most garbage of all gacha games that i ever played. Oh yeah, also this game doesnt have pity either. They r too greedy.. I've been venture so deep into the game, i've done most of the endgame content including the superbosses. But these last months i didnt realize that i become the person that only want the free CS rewards, i'm not enjoying the story like i used to. And also, there's no pity in this game, stellar awakening make it WORSE. i dont get excited to get 4.5* like i used to. I've spent 17k for Cerius, 15k for Alter Myunfa, 13k for 4.5* Oboro, and 13k for ES Thilelile and didnt got her. Farewell & thank u. Serious BUG. Playing since launch. Sometimes you pull a character, but they don't unlock. It happens about 3 times a year . You know when you pull a character but it isn't one you use.. so later you go back to level them and they are not unlocked, "ohh, I thought I saw this character unlock. Later you pull that character and again you ignor them, but then notice they are locked... OK. Fool me once, twice. Then you pull that character, and the game crashes, locked! 3rd time. AS characters bug..
Great game. I lost my original account, I had it for 6 years or more, please tell me how to get it back. But the game is amazing.. Been playing since launch and it's still amazing. It's the only true single player jrpg I've been able to find on mobile, and while it does have gatcha mechanics, you get more than enough free pulls to carry you through content. For those that love it, there is grinding and powerful superbosses. For those who just care about the story, you never need to engage with the rest of the game. Just... watch out for fishing grind.. Still a favorite, but like any mobile game it has its ups and downs. The gacha rate can be pretty brutal, especially as F2P. But I will say that even though it's a bit of a grind, it's nice that you CAN get through things with the free characters (and there are so many more now than before). And once you have one version of a gacha character you can just grind to sidegrade. Not many gachas can boast that. And with a boatload of story and beautiful art and music, it helps overlook the flaws.. Not only the best mobile rpg, bit one of my favorite rpg's on any platform. I'm changing my previous bad review, while there were some difficult bosses I have been able to proceed. For the longest time I couldn't continue certain Episodes and other side storylines because of bosses who heal. However I was only able to proceed due to finally getting good 5 stars when before I had basic. In the last month I pulled 15 5s and a full stellar team. I finally enjoy thud game again..
Lost all progress. The game randomly popped up with me having to start all over again but when trying to recover my game, it was gone. Can't transfer from my Google account, which is odd because it was always signed in when I played, and now tells me it's not connected?? I have well over 100+ hours into this, this is quite upsetting. On top of that, it's telling me to download all the data again? It was never removed from my phone so I'm not sure why it was asking me that. SUPER disappointed. I'm unsubbing until the character-specific starcharts are added for gacha characters, and until the materials to make starcharts are finally released. It's been months since the SA update, this is ridiculous.. Impossible to log in. I can't play the game. Impossible d'ouvrir le jeu, je fais le tlchargement puis sa ferme l'appli au moment de lancer.. The game is straight unplayable. It has the worst downloader I have seen in my entire life. Pathetic. I ve been waiting for 1hr 45 min exactly now in high speed 5g network to download just 7 gb . I could have downloaded over 70 gb with my speed easily under an hour. Uninstalling and won't ever play this. Such a shame the game was so great too..
Today I do premium gacha 3000 for rainbow and dupe. No new char (10%???) It's said the third time I can pick Guess what? It's lie Good game but gacha sucks. The game only opens through the app store for me now. Not necessarily rage quit worthy, but it's definitely worth looking into. The most recent Android update broke the app icon on my homepage..
