A good strategy simulator with puzzle elements. City Takeover is an original strategic simulator with puzzle elements for Android mobile devices. In this simulator, you have to capture cities with the help of a kind of army. However, not all so simple. Having loaded into the location, you will see several buildings in the form of geometric shapes in front of you.
Buildings are painted in different colors. There is your color, the opponent’s color, and the neutral color. Opponents are located at the edges of the map, while neutral cities are in the center. You must stretch the strip from the base to the object to capture the city. The building has a number indicating the number of soldiers. If this figure is greater than the one in the enemy building, you can safely start the capture. Using such mechanics, you must capture all the cities on the map.
To bad they destroyed the game with ads. It once was a good way to kill a few minutes. God forbid you don't have service and they can't hit you with ads because then you can't play.. Not only is the game set to where the game can put out twice as many as You can, you're always seem to be starting out behind the game. For instance, if you start out with your blocks saying 15, the game is starting out with this block, saying 12 makes It almost impossible to win unless you buy the diamonds or watch commercials. It's a good game now. They have fixed the flickering glitch, so its much better. adds come up a lot, but otherwise, it's a good game.. Way too many ads. Popping up in the middle of game play is absolutely annoying. However, I like the game. Maybe I'll pay for ad free, but until then, chill out with the pop-up ads during game play, please.. I been playing for a awhile now and the updates are insane the clouds and towers are now in the way of the view the adds are unbearable and I was on level 5984 and now it won't load only 1 thing to do and that's to delete the game.
My favourite part of this game is paying for no ads but then am forced to watch ads to get better rewards as the rewards system on this game is trash. My other favourite part is having maximum towers spit out less troops than opponents whos towers are way weaker but are able to spit out 3x more troops.. 3rd favourite part is grinding away to upgrade troops that absolutely does nothing... . Really liked this game but its super laggy which causes you to lose got frustrated and deleted the game. It's sad cuz it's got a good concept just need some tweaks.. The pop-ups sit over where you need to click making it impossible to play the game without accidentally clicking on them. The frame around the outside is frustrating and keeps you from playing properly. Awful game.. Ad galore, ads pop up while in play. Ads after,before, and during. Your game is trash do to all the ads.
After several levels you are forced to watch long ads after each level passed. Then they then want you to watch a 2nd ad to boost your reward. No thanks. Love the game when I'm able to play for some reason I start to play the game the game throws you out and you have to start again. I love playing this game but since the BUGS were fixed I get kicked out of the game all the time and it never did that before.. I actually liked to play this game. The problem is I recently got a new phone and my progress didn't transfer to my new phone. I was literally at the top in "god tier." Now, when I open the game, I'm back to level one. Two emails to the developer and no response yet..

Every time I play it lately, it plays ads that download random apps. I don't recall ever giving permission for this. Anyway, it is too hard for me to figure out, so I can't play it anymore.. The game itself is pretty addicting, I love that there are different characters to unlock.. But I am giving it 1 star because there are to many ads! Plus the win bonus disappears if you don't click anything right away.. Which often make it difficult to time also.. Probably my biggest issue is, what is the point in taking all the time and resources to level up a characters stats when it doesn't seem to change anything!!!!!!! . I used to have fun playing this game. Now it's impossible to be the stages with out the power ups. Then it won't allow you to use the power ups by not loading the powerup bar..
Design is awful, towers get in the way of controls, freeze opponent button is always in the way, audio ad is always in the way, CLOUDS get in the way, pathways are impossible to see or put where you want, most of the levels are either ridiculously easy or impossible without endless well planned ad or money gotten upgrades. Frikkin ridiculous.. It's a decent game however the later levels are a challenge and nearly impossible if you don't spend any money on the game.. I'm tired of this game freezing when I win the big prize! The first few times, I thought it was a glitch, but the fact that it's happening every time makes me believe it's the game's way of not paying out! I previously rated this game a 5, but now I'm ready to delete! There's not even an easy way to contact customer service. Just yuck.. Overall pretty fun basic tower game. Very frustrating that end of every game there is the chance to multiply bonus, yet every time it downgrades. I'm clearly in max multiply but gives me lower reward..
I really like the game style. But it's poorly designed, and I lose because of poor controls and hidden data obscured by game elements.. Can you make the races optional or a way to close out the pop up. I love the game but don't care for the race pop up that you cannot 'x' out. -Thanks. I had goven this game five stars but I had to Delete yhat rating and change it to a 1 star rating. Game forces you yo sit through ads after every stage you clear. This is just torture, and I hate it when my time playing a game consists of watching an ad every two minutes. So slow to progress with all the ads. They ruined the game. Booooo!!!. I really like these types of games and this one is really good. Not to difficult but not to easy either..
Like all the other take over games. Eventually something will piss me off with this game and I'll uninstall it.. Fun new way to play the same type of game and there are less ads than others so far very nice.. Great way to kill time. Very entertaining. Love this game. Thanks for fixing the Boss levels. So, very happy. Really enjoying the updates to the game.. Fun game except for the ads. After watching several ads to try to boost my way through a tough fight, I got the privilege of watching yet another ad -- just because? Interrupting a fight with ads I did not of ask for is going too far..
Love how you updated it. Also love the challenge of the harder levels and how every level can be figured out, if you have the patience. I don't always have the patience, so the tools help in those cases.. Really nice game, but it makes my eyes tired on the phone. I wish if I can play in on a bigger screen like a PC. The adds are very annoying. I have to tap 3 tabs sometimes just to close them when they finish. I understand there must be some adds in the game, but those adds are invasive and I have to tap many buttons to close them.. Frustrating but also love. I put alot of time into this game and I can never make the day goals of the special events. I get so close even after spending money on it.. Look, I like the concept. But there are other games just like this without the issue of having your screen filled with towers and being snuck by an opponent, because you can't see or interact with their towers. Mainly because the towers are crunched soooooo close together, that drawing a line from one to another becomes a complex mess..
I made it to level 1447 and Everytime I win the fight nothing happens... I am starting to think the higher levels you go..the more the app is frozen or big out :(. It's not a strategy game, it's an ad reel. The levels get more and more unfair, your skill and strategy matters little to nothing, because as long as your opponent doesn't screw up monumentally, you just won't win. Drains batteries so much, that I even suspected it was a disguised crypto miner. Do yourself a favor, don't touch this game.. Another fun game utterly ruined by ads. You can turn them off for 'only' 4, but I could buy a complete, varied, interesting game on Steam for that. Also, I don't even mind the ads interrupting game play so much, but I DO mind it when those ads also stop the podcast I'm listening to. (Probably not something the devs directly control. But since this has made me uninstall the game, I'm sure the devs could lean on the ad providers to try and prevent this.). I like this game, it allows me to use my brain to come up with strategies to win, but I only have it three stars because it only gives me one viewpoint to play this game, I've played other games like this and have gotten two view points options, from the front like this game does and an overhead view looking directly down on it, please add this option and I would be happy to give this app 5 stars.
I use to play this game and it's a fun game but now when you get a ad sometimes you can't escape and your not allowed to go off wifi because they don't allow off wifi so you have to leave the whole app and each level You get spamed with a mini ad to get a power up that canalso freeze don't get this game. Way too many ads. And don't bother paying for the "no ads" option because it's a lie and they will ignore you when you complain.. This game doesn't just require Internet, it requires high speed Internet and won't load once I've reached my data cap. After that, even with strong Wi-Fi it glitches and freezes, usually after a difficult level that would have provided larger rewards, and after 700 and something levels the game won't load at all and I have to start over. I preferred travelling through the levels in an RPG style as opposed to "building" the cities, and the City Race is far too long(3 days)for such small rewards.. 1) i have to mark it as 0 star because of it's irritating ads in every lvl which is very much disappointing.. forced ads for 30 secs of 10 sec game..! lol 2) and the worst part is we can't add this game to our mail or Facebook to save game data.. very bad developers team, very bad.. 3) same 30/40 lvls repeated even I'm in 1700+ lvl now.. no new lvls...!! 4- after 2 years today- Nov 2023, i changed my phone and lost all the data , about 3500+ lvl played, 300+ gems & more .
I am changing my review to 5 stars! The levels are still little unreasonable but addding boosters helps This game out of the 100 other games like this is the WORSE!!!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD. Some levels are beyond unrealistic! AI is maxed on 4 buildings & you start out with 1 & only 1 line. You do not give the option to watch a ad which you would make $ off of - but I guess you are waiting to see if someone will purchase the booster. Lol, I'm rolling. 2 many games like this. PATHETIC!. The game was fun initially, but it became frustrating when you can't connect some towers to other to attack them. Makes the game kinda pointless, for me anyways.. It is kind of a fun game but it is just another money grab game. The UI is terrible. Some of the pop up block the game and there is no way to get rid of them except pay to cheat.. Keeps throughing pop-ups insisting you buy bonuses and watch frost ads while trying to play, which blocks the castles you're attacking so you can't actually see what's going on! Worst game I've played yet for castle takeover! They're so focused on you spending money and watching ads they will ruin your game play to try and force it. Highly don't recommend this game.
Solid challenging gaming. However poor hovering ad placements and watch ads for bonus mechanic pop-ups consistently block the view of towers and have led to a loss of games. It's no secret these ads are the best way to make a living with mobile games compared to donating or single purchases models but it shouldn't prevent the User Experience. Please reconsider how these ads are presented to the player as to not directly block gameplay.. These dum dums don't know you gotta bring in the ads slowly. They are so persistent this (otherwise fun) game is unplayable.. A great game, keeps you thinking,not an easy game to get through.. BUT ads during play? That's just not right, breaks any rhythm you might have gotten to complete the level. Haven't tried, it sounds fun. A lot of people love it. I mean, look at how many people downloaded this game. Wow, I gave it a 5 out of 5 because I love it.
