There's a bug with juggler. Unit star levels are switched after killing juggler, and it seems usually the stars go to divine warden. Changing my review to two stars because my feedback on the bug is apparently ignored when I gave 4 stars.. The game is fun to start but then you realize the community is dead, the match making system is not balanced(not complaining because I was being beat, complete opposite, I was just slaughtering everyone without even trying). Guilds are all inactive with no point to membership. There is very little side scenario game play. Worth playing for about 2 days. EDIT: The server is sometimes laggy, which is a big problem. I also think the three classes need to be balanced. Right now, it's not that great. Switching verdict to "it's ok" only. -- I've not come across any bugs nor any problems in general navigating and learning about the game. it's extremely easy to learn and play. I think TD enthusiasts should give this a try. It's worth becoming the main talk in the TD Mobile games. I love that you can complete with your friends too. Great work on this!.
severe p2w from silver 2 extra severe p2w from silver 1 additionally,no skilled p2w players occur from silver 1 i used to win %99 of matches till silver 1.then people who win only with windy and wendigo occured.p2w trap. Also,characters say too many things related to stealing money and items,money grabbing etc. it is absolutely unacceptable.They show the minds of devs clearly.you can't take single penny from me!. Mostly a fun game but kind of feels like a coin flip some games due to luck of the draw. Plus a boss named Ping & Pong busts up your units and makes it so you can't move them mid fight, making for a very frustrating loss. Overall though, I enjoy it. You don't have to spend any money to advance and the devs offer plenty of opportunities to earn free things. Some new game modes and cards would help to freshen up things. I used to play Castle Burn and it's cool seeing the old characters from it..
Laggy. Takes ages to load. Disconnects during matches, ending in defeats. Losing means lost of points n ranking. Updated and a paid skin's resources disappeared, no response from discord mods, game could be brilliant if it worked properly. Level locking issues in modes. Maybe fix the current issues before releasing new cards. Played since first day of release, continued to play in the hope the problems would be fixed but alas theres still major issues needing attention.. Updated: Changing my rating to a 2, I really love the game and play everyday but I think its rigged. in some games it'll be hard for you to kill monsters even with units upgraded, meanwhile your opponents will be clearing them so easily. On top of that the replay doesn't show what actually happened in a game, really questionable as it shouldn't be hard to save actual gameplay..
The gameplay itself is quite straightforward yet entertaining, the graphics are cartoony, high fantasy inspired. They seem to have done something with the optimisation, it doesn't overheat the phone as much as it used to. 2nd edit: The lag and delay are gone as well, server looks stable, seems like the developers actually read reviews, a bonus star for that!. Has a lot of potential to be really fun, but is severely held back by the pay to win nature of the game. You'll climb well enough early on, but eventually you'll be outmatched by people who have either invested more time in the game before you or people who've paid to increase the power of their units..
Diamond 3 Ranked, connection always lagg , if you reach Diamond Ranked it is hard to win without paid because you will face another high level card and artifacts players. This game need more mechanics during turns to come-back to win such as can select one from 2 units after boss or more units to make it more balance.. All polished well and fun to play. But, people need to know, the story in the Defense Derby universe. Who's the bad guy, who's the good guy. Yep, DD need lore and storyline presentation, so players feels and enjoy taking part when playing the games..
I love tower defense games and I wanted to like Defense Derby. Unfortunately, the balance in this game is pretty much nonexistent and the laggy servers consistently create losing scenarios for players as part of the core strategy is being able to reposition your units. The imbalances create scenarios where a player with 2 units is holding off waves of enemies that another army comp of 4 plus is losing against. Fun for a bit, but if you're looking for competitiveness look elsewhere.. Great game ruined by terrible UI. Unnecessary extra clicks...Clicking and dragging doesn't always work (especially first unit placement of a match). The mechanics and complexities make it very playable and fun though, and it's not yet pay to win, more pay to advance..
No. Ads. Phenomenal. Art style is super cool, synergies and so on are neat, and you get a bunch of things even as a free player to get going in the game. Very cool, looking forward to seeing what updates hold in the future!. Sorry i have a problam i opeed a new account in new phone but after closing the game and re-entering the game the 28 day reward shows up but i can not claim it or evem ignore it. No button works i even delete and re install and evem try on another phone but there is the same problam for my account pls help.
Excellent game, sadly had to uninstall due to needing space... Only thing I would complain is, try to take care of your free players more. They are the majority of players, and the ones who you don't want to bore or annoy to uninstall it and pass the voice of this being another P2W game.. I recently bought a new phone since my old phone died. When choosing which 3 games I would download first, Defense Derby was immediately on the list. This game is incredibly fun to play with short matches that I can just whip out when I have 10 minutes to spare. The strategizing and growth portion are detailed but not overwhelming to the point that my buffering brain can't keep up with. It does have some bugs and connectivity issues but it's gotten way better over the few months I've played ^__^.
Amazing game. Love it entirely. However since the new update I am stuck on the loading screen. I am worried about trying to reinstall it to fix the issue as I'm not sure if I linked my account to anything so will lose my progress.. I have puchased gem pack 3 (1st time) and didnt revieve any gem on 27 sep and already submit a ticket but still no gem accept in mail box and i also couldnt request a refund on google play , please fix your system. Took 3-4 week to refund , too long but already fixed , so i'll raise star for that..
Fun but frustrating. The game is fun yes there is lag. The thing I'm struggling with is going 6 to 7 rounds and my cards never get pulled until I die. Edit: Every update I have to delete and re-download the game. The first time it happened my account wasn't linked so I lost my first account. 2nd round I just started over again. But whats frustrating is you have to do the tutorial each time you re-download. I've done it 4 times. Not fun.. The game is not bad, but the events are awful and a money grab (the Halloween event basically gives you a small discount on a cosmetic, they cap your event currency so you can't get it without paying). You've got a good game here, stop treating the players like and afterthought..
The game has so much potential to be a really good game. Unfortunately the lag destroys it. Some days the game runs fine all day and then some days the lag is unbearable and can't be played at all. The worst part is you don't know how laggy the game will be until you are already in a game. Forced to fight the lag to try not lose ranked points!. Overall pretty fun game, although there's a few walls with blitz progress where you really need a power spike to get past. However, the latest update has broken the game. It's not loading the game... probably an error with the config file? Friend told me him trying to get it working wiped his progress. I'll keep trying and update if/when I can play again..

STAY AWAY FROM THESE THESE PEOPLE, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!. this is honestly one of the most fun and addictive games I've ever played on a mobile device. the company is constantly rewarding its community and being able to feel competitive without having to spend money feels like such a relief. I really hope this game becomes more popular.
I really enjoy this game. Very fun to play. But suddenly the game is now laggy. While playing derby the game lags 1-2 times. Its very frustrating. If this continues, my interest for this game will be gone and unfortunately i probably will uninstall it later. I hope they can fix this. Will turn to 5 star if fixed. (No its not my internet connection that is the problem.). The gameplay is very intriguing and has unique mechanics for TD. This game has a lot of potential, and I hope that in the future will bring more deep combos and heroes. Solid design and in general the gaming is really good..
Dear lag derby, might uninstall it soon because of lag issue, so please add server in EU. Because My other games is fine. Only this game lags a lot. Many player have same issue. Please work on this specific issue.. Not a fan of TD mode, but maybe the best in this mode, like Castle craft and Castle Burn (rip) more, hope this team bring it back to life, best RTS ever made. (I mean Castle Burn, which was by the same team).
