I had this while back before 9-13-2023 on my phone. Five stars that work on my phone. But 9-13-2023 it didn't do what i ask for on the tablet it put me back on level 1 do that 1 star that I hate. I played it so much on my phone and now it asking me to restore it and I don't want to ruin my data/storage but I got a lot of storage space left but I just don't want to waste it and I will get this app back in the future because I love this this game.. I had this game for a while but now with the new update it just became a new game ? I have 2 different games of this now on my phone... The old one where it keeps saying update but when i press it it takes me to the other one(this one) while i had purchased stuff on it and now lost everything.. anyway to fix this?. I've had this game for almost 3 months now and have manage to reach chapter 37 on story mode. Although I have some problems with terms of gameplay. Ykw who amd I kidding, BRING BACK DAILY TEN DRAW PLEASE ITS THE ONLY REASON IM DEDICATED TO PLAY AT ALL..
I really love the game and it's good qualities alot of fun characters to play with and alot of things to explore in game but it's just this game feels like it's not too really F2P friendly since everything from the best things to anything from getting free characters from the draw of your choice is locked behind a paywall everything you mostly do is sadly behind a paywall I just wish it wasn't really too much for whales since they tend to spend a lot in game so I hope it becomes F2PFriendly soon. I actually really liked this game and thought it was fun. But, I got a new phone logged in like I usually do and all my data was gone. I have tried to contact them several times and no one will get back to me. That's why a 1 star. Would have been a 4.
Its alr game but the bugs are crazy I swear this isn't my first comment on this, I left this game for a good year+ maybe because I cant get through this one part as everytime I finish the dialog it just keeps looping. Its the part where my character speaks to some mermaid lady its isnt fun, and it's pissing me off. FIX THIS PLEASE FOR HEAVENS SAKE. Nothing i do is fixing this.. Been playing since release,loved it at first,quirky characters and entertaining gameplay,got to certain level and Been stuck there for months,you literally never draw the characters you need to promote them,can't move on in adventure,can't progress in tower,literally just stuck,now dailies feel like a chore,once the free draws finish no doubt so will I..
Vivid characters and scenery. Excellent storytelling. Would give 5 stars however I am getting an error and can't pass chapter 5 Castle encounter. It would be helpful to have a summary option of your story of previous chapters. It would also be helpful if you need to skip part of the story (due to time constraints) that the game doesn't skip the story and go to two responses but skipped the question! Skip TO the question if there is one so we know what we answer!. Game gets worse with each update. Friendlist is completely unusable, disconnects constantly, friendlist keeps breaking and instead if fixing these issues, they just add more ways for ingame purchases, loads of inactive players filling up all servers and no way to migrate inactive or active players.
This game is cute but my goodness the bugs make it completely unplayable. I just started and in the 4th chapter it freezes and never loads to continue on making the game essentially unplayable even after troubleshooting and switching to "basic" as they recommended. Would not recommend trying this game unless you enjoy frustration.. Probably the most money hungry game I've ever played. All of their events are money based. Most are entirely paid to win. And if it's not, then you literally have to spend money to play. For example, their web top of "event" is literally pay money to get crystals. Also, none of the in-game reward or competitions scale. So you'd be rewarded 15 hero's proofs when you need 40,000 hero's proof to promote your hero. There's no way to progress if you don't spend money. And you have to spend a lot..
EDIT: I HAD TO FIND OUT ON DISCORD, BUT IF AN ADVENTURE KEEPS FREEZES ON U AT ANY POINT, WHAT U NEED TO DO IS HIT THE RESTART ICON TOP RIGHT (4 TIMES IN ALL) DON'T DO ANYTHING WHEN IT RESTARTS. AT VERY BEGINNING U JUST SKIP DIALOGUE, THEN HIT RESET RIGHT AFTER **IMPORTANT** THERE IS A MESSAGE THAT POPS UP EVERYTIME U HIT RESET ASKING U TO CONFIRM. **ON THE *4TH TIME* U HIT RESET, THE MESSAGE POP UP WILL NOW HAVE A LITTLE GREEN TEXT THAT SAYS "SKIP STAGE" TAP THAT, THEN U WILL GO ON TO THE NEXT*. Nevermind The issue was fixed!,I didn't know you can skip the stages! The system is good guys! If you guys encounter crashing in the plot twist story,just click the reset button 4 or 6 times and click the green text if you see it in the reset button(the reset button can be found in the upper left corner of the screen,it's the one who look like a loading symbol) Anyways this game was so that it have this feature,thank you moonthia97 for telling me how to fix it -Lust (Server 172).
great fun rpg type game, rewards from progress so you dont need to buy in order to progress in game. it has lots to do and see 10/2/23 after all updates done to game there is still a bug at before the banquet once you open chest it gets stuck in a loop opening same chest and can't progress in game so i lower to 3 stars til fixed. Agree with most comments. So many bugs. I am season 5 Castle encounter and can't get any further as I go to start a fight and freezes every time. I even uninstall and reinstalled and still happening so can't do anything now..
Game is fun. But the little things such as when collecting rewards, adding friends and going from so and such has lags that are annoying. Game becomes repetitive. The only fun thing was collecting and upgrading them to higher levels. Other stuff was good but with the constant lag in between made the game experience worse. So I am uninstalling it. Sorry.. This game is F2P UNFRIENDLY. Even as a p2p they gutted the rewards decreasing its value of what you get in return. The glimmer blessing and adventure event was nerfed in the update. Before the update, you get to choose the S/S+ hero of your choice. Now it's RNG with probability of getting fake epics. They did start merging servers recently but unless they make serious changes and start listening to players it's slowly dying. Devs are dead silent with no communication to community..
The game itself is great and all, but for some reason at some passages, specially in the story line, the game freezes during a battle, after reaching stages 9+ it became frequent, will you please look at this issue, I hope it gets resolved.... Devs don't care about and listen to players. Latest update is trash and making it more F2P unfriendly. Example: Players asked glimmer blessing be available to f2p, but they ignored that. Instead they made it worse. Dominion war bug, they say it's a display bug despite players showing proof it's not and affecting competitive guild play. Totally frustrating. This game is a dumpster fire now. Devs lie and cheat players. Stay away!.
The thing that saves this game is the beautiful art style and adequate storyline. But the thing that makes this game boring is because it's a class A AFK ARENA Disney-Fairytale version. The game has little to no mini games. Once you reach a certain level. You're going to be stuck for a while. And there's nothing left to do after that. BORING. it's nice when you start playing. Then the game dies after a week.. I can't go on with my levels. When I press to go to the next levels (1-9) nothing happens. Even when I go out of the game and go back in, it does the same thing. PLEASE FIX IT. I want to go on with the game!.
AFK Arena clone. Art is gorgeous, story's fun, love the fairytale element. Will it stay fun? All depends if the devs get greedy, like every other idle rpg out there... and alas, it is heading that way already. Endless top-up screens, a top-up 'event', and worst of all: you changed the extra recruiting in the tower that's only available to vip 2 and made it less useful. Wouldn't have spent 5 for the new version. About 3 guilds are still somewhat active on my server. This game could've been more.. Latest update has ruined this game. Why would I spend thousands on a stupid app game when I can buy a PlayStation/Xbox game for less than a hundred and have a better experience with the ability to unlock new abilities and characters for free?!! If we all stopped being retarded and stopped supporting this excrement, we might get some app games we could play for an actual reasonable amount..
game was fun at first I even joined a very fun an caring community until the new update came and the greed got worse making it harder to get better Partners. It broke our guild and now a shadow of its former glory. Dont play this game if you're not willing to spend on the thousands. Fun game but can't progress due to bug in the main questline. Dialogue keeps repeating over and over again and is unskippable. Tried both options in the troubleshooting settings but none worked and couldn't find where to report bugs anywhere. Will uninstall now which is a shame since I really liked it thus far..
Guild contents down SECOND WEEK IN A ROW!! At least this week we got a enemy guild to battle unlike last week but after we stomped the other guild it ended to give us no reward no ranking no exp... bugged out and beyond annoying to get through to the end and plan out battles for 2 days just to get nothing thanks for wasting my time but story's great and the Re-imagined fairytale characters are great but much to be desired in guild content. Generous and fun game. No energy costs to play. Truthfully, the writing of the story is fine,could be way worse. No ads, minus it's own self ad which is minimal as well. Art is cool. Guild leadership goes to next person if the leader is gone for so long. Hope more populace but hopefully if the in game population does go up, it stays no ads and generous..
Thank God I haven't been playing this game for long, or spending a lot of money on it, because I'm TIRED of being kicked off, or the game freezing up when I'm TRYING to do something within the guild I'm in. It WAS pretty fun, in the beginning, but getting kicked off and the game freezing up; that's a HUGE problem for me. Maybe the devs will learn from this, but I won't hold my breath.. I've gotta say,at start I enjoyed it,I really did! But over time it started Bruning me out,everything that gaved you free things gives less good items,EVERYTHING COST MONEY,everything you think is free? NOPE MONEY also it became harder and harder to get blue balls so I can lvl up,tot not recomend.
I dont play anymore because I was spending too much. But this is my favorite idle game. The music, charactes, animation are superb. Strategy on advancing in the game is just right. Everything seems well balanced. Miss it but yea.. "Madtale: Idle RPG is, like, my latest obsession! It's super chill to play and doesn't demand all my time. You just have to get comfortable with knowing the same 10 people are on every top 10 list because they spent the money. If you don't have the money, and just want to enjoy a unique are style then it works. But honestly the pop-ups are excessive, disruptive, and literally everything is buybuybuy. Even basic quality of life things that other games just provide. I did top up 4 times trying to get my packages for Snow White, and I still only have it for day one. How in the hell do I get the other packages for her? I have even done the recommended packages and upgraded her!.
