A pretty exciting project, from which you can go crazy. Run An Empire here you have to engage in crazy battles and try to capture vast territories. It seems that there is nothing new and terrible in this, but the developers did their best to surprise any player. They were able to implement an interesting feature in this project that everyone will like. You have to capture real areas, as well as cities that exist in our lives. This is a very interesting idea that immediately appealed to all players without exception.
Use your smartphone to complete various tasks, move around the big city and capture certain territories. You will be able to place marks on the map, according to which the capture will then take place. You can take advantage of a variety of game advantages that can be applied in real battles.
Nothing is impossible here, because you just need to complete the tasks exactly, capture certain territories and solve all your problems. Not bad graphics, a lot of interesting moments and opportunities, as well as a great pastime for crazy gameplay.
Fun game, it's sad that a lot of necessary things are for money. This is completely illogically done, if the developer needed money, it could always be added as a cosmetic item instead of blocking functions in the game. The run count is very bad, 5 hours were spent in vain, it writes way too fast even though it is a completely normal speed. Overall, pretty fun. But whenever I open the app nowadays, I just get a black screen. I also backed the kickstarter for it wayyyyy back when (even got the shirt) and it doesn't seem like any of thr benefits from previous iterations of the game carry forward.. I have been trying the new version, which is finally available for my phone, and I'm quite enthused. They added back some of the game play that it better than Stride. I find myself more interested in exploring new areas now that there's a reward for doing so. Unfortunately, I'm older and my knees are not what they used to be, so earning gold can be harder. I don't like paying to play, but being able purchase gold in some fashion might be helpful..
I'm coming back to this game after a year and the map has seen a big aesthetic change. If you look at the screenshots you can see how it used to look. I guess the developers are neglecting the Android version in favor of IOS. There have been some additions with regards to privacy however. Including an option to hide the trail! Also Strava integration has been added!. 2024 UPDATE Come back to this in our new location to find it paywalled. Did my first raid only to be forced to watch an ad or join premium. Uninstalling. 2021 Great so far! Only been playing a couple of days but so far so good. Living in a village its a little challenging to get enough tiles to play on as only the tiles closest to the roads are accessible, the rest are private property, but it should be enough to be able to keep playing. Love the format and the idea..
Aside from the game locking you up when you level up (despite pro sub) the main issue I'm having is the game not splitting people into class. I currently have some fool changing his routine specifically to run marathons around my home area when I'm just starting out. It's demoralising and I'm glad I cancelled the sub. App can go in the bin with the Stride app, which is where the other player is running. I thought this was more casual due to actual game but it's the same data shared across apps.. Again this beauty right here should have a separate word created just to separate the quality of this blessing it is definently worth all energy into building a own territory because in the long run that has so much more value well done again.
I used to love this app, but starting a few months ago, the game stoped recording my routes, it wouldn't even capture the first hex I started on. I contacted support awhile ago, and they told me to log out and back in, and if that didn't work, to uninstall and reinstall the app. Neither worked. Today the hex my house sits on got captured. I would have given the app 5 stars otherwise. ~Important Edit~ So we have to watch an ad or pay money to finish raids now. This is plain garbage, the laststraw. Seems the developers agree that their game is not great, but instead of fixing they reset everything with new rules. During these reset all the stuff I bought in the shop has been removed, wasted money. Disregard positive reviews from 2018-2019, the game had potential back then..
Used to be a great and fun game. Now they ruined it by deleting everyone's accounts, turning it into just a resprite of Stride (A game which, let me add, most People don't like) and making it overly competitive. Absolutely not a fan.. Finally! Strava integration! How about Google/Android "Health Connect" since you integrated "Apple Health"? "Health Connect" is the official "Apple Health" of Android. It's beneficial, you don't have to worry about integration with every smartwatch and platforms, like "Apple Health", "Health Connect" by Android/Google will handle it all for you..
Been playing for a year, decent game motivating me to get out. On 5/1 they merged it with Stride and lost all my progress, all my gold, all my gems, and all of my hard earned storage. So much for that year..... One star, all of my progress are gone when I try to load my old account, what a trash, so you devs are saying that my past efforts are useless? What a drag pft, I recommend to old players that don't install this game again, your progress was wasted..
Really enjoying the game but I've hit a wall where I can't continue any further until I register a username and password. Everytime I try to register a password it kicks me back and highlights "must be 8 characters long" I have tried 8 character passwords, nothing works. There is a lot of potential with this game. But it's so glitchy it'll drive you insane within a day. It's tough to create an account (if you're able to AT ALL), and impossible to log in or reset your password. Parts of your empire will randomly disappear and the buildings that are supposed to be creating items for you to use will stop doing so the second you stop playing. Requesting a refund now from Google because the devs are NOT responsive..
Just spent $43.99 for annual activation of 7 wonders and NOTHING IS CHANGED. I am out $43.99 and all my wonders just say "Activate to receive bonus". When I try to activate I get a message saying I already have a subscription. Almost 50 bucks for literally nothing. PLEASE FIX.. Played the game a year ago. Was a fun game with some bugs. Tried again and it's worse! Can't even create a account as the password. I contacted the company on their website and I've had no response after 4 days. Given up.
Ok this is a cool game but hears the problem there is a bug where you can't make a account because it won't let you put a password in 8 characters needed yet it pops up in red that it won't let me use the password ?? Numbers letters nothing works so gets 3 stars. After playing through level 9 and capturing a castle, it allows you to enter your email/password. This was my only issue prior to lvl 9 so w/ that fixed you get 5 stars. It's It's fun game and there is plenty to keep you hooked..
I sweat the game so hard to the point I was globally No.1 on the leaderboards just because I loved the game so much, but after a year or so It just started getting pretty boring but hey, I have some bragging right because of this game. A lot of tedium, too much to do and no automation. The territory function doesn't capture everywhere I've been. I can't visit hexes while I'm walking. And there are too few hexes that someone down the street has a castle on the hex where I live..
I really enjoy the game and how it gives me a reason to run and explore different areas. The reason I rated so low was after playing for a few days I paid the $8 for the monthly plan and after trying retore purchase/ Uninstaller and everything I can think of I can not get what was promised (can't build the wonders or reactive their effects) so I feel they basically stole by $8. I'm sure is a glitch/ error and don't know if it's common but pretty annoying.. This is a really cool concept and it was awesome at first, but it's too glitchy. I tried to capture a castle, walked for an hour to get there, and was supposed to get two new plots of land. It prompted me to create an account yet wouldn't let me choose a password, just kept saying password needed to be 8 characters long no matter what I typed, so I exited and re-entered the app and the two plots of land weren't captured anymore and I can't create an account. Lame..
Too much work! I loved the idea of running to capture territory, bit there is waaaay too much maintenance needed. I would prefer to be logged on whenever I'm running/walking and maybe ten minutes before/after plotting (MUHAHA) but this requires you to constantly be playing (by having your empire produce items) in order to do well.. It's a fun idea. And I enjoyed it for the first hour or so, but after that it lost my interest. I tried to create an account so I could sync it with my strava account, but the app has a bug that doesn't allow the keyboard to pop up to type my email or really anything. Then I went for a run with my location on and the app active to try to unlock some more hexes (I just ran strava on my watch). When I finished my run it kept track of my time, but didn't measure the distance. So no unlocking.
I like the idea of the game, but there are quite a few problems... Many time it just didn't save all my progress before I closed the game so I had to do a lot of clicking all over again, the hexes are way too big so it hinder progress somewhat, and the most annoying thing for me is that the stronghold can hold way too little resources and the upgrade is too expensive and barely helps... I'm at a point that I don't even bother to produce anything in the buildings because I never have space. I love the idea at the core, but its covered with a mobile game that is completely unnecessary. All mobile games are designed to do is frustrate F2P users so they buy gems, and im not participating in that. Even if thr game didn't have gems, it would be frustrating to manage a town when all I was looking for was conquering my neighborhood by running only. I dont care about the rest. If they could implement a separate mode (classic or running only mode) I would be interested.
Urgent patch needed for keyboard bug, keyboard does not show up when click on text field. This means I cannot take part in PvP part of game!!! Otherwise I like the idea of the game and the style. Need better way of capturing tiles between roads that are inaccessible, also storage is pretty much useless, get rid of it or make it ten times larger.. Becomes numb and repetative after few days. Constant micromanagemant and numerous logic or gameplay bugs. - constantly out of storage. Storage increase requires specialists or gems. Specialists are in populated areas. Areas can be visited only once. Then you need to go out of your city with ever increasing distance. Nobody does that. Usualy you run, walk, bike in the same area around home or work/home commute. - lots of logic problems..
I really like the concept and will try to persevere, but there are a couple bugs which make it hard to play. When the window pops up to enter a username and email address, my keyboard doesn't come up so I can't type, and there is no way to close that pop-up so I need to close the app. Otherwise not quite enough information to start learning the game play easily.. Innovative idea at the core (motivating to go for runs), but implemented as typical farming game with constant inventory and production micromanagement. Requires constantly buying gems for ridiculous amount of money to progress. Bugs, can't register on (some) android phones which causes lots of issues, and doesn't allow to battle at castles. Time waster..
Great in principle, high potential and some excellent features. Unfortunately not balanced and very buggy. If its developed could be fantastic. Edit, changed review down to 1 star. Changes seem to change things that work but several key issues go unaddressed, making the game only partially playable.. I'm very new to the app. Day 2. I like the Civ style gameplay and cute graphics I feel motivated to go out but I can't figure out how to turn in what I assume are quests to the settlements. I tap everywhere and still have 4/1 wool..
This is a great app with a good, motivational idea. But I have already had two frustrating situations with the recording. One was where I recorded a walk then pressed finished. Thought it was all good but halfway through the drive home it was still recording and said it wouldn't count it. Also I just did a half hour bike ride to collect more land and its recorded the time but not the distance so thing that motivated me to get out and ride has not worked. Very frustrating! Will try again though.. I really wanted to play the game, but even after giving it permission to use my location, the game doesn't allow me to go past the go to settings screen. What a disappointment. Please inform me when this is fixed..
Cute art and concept, poor execution. Saving is buggy. No incentive to run since it's mainly a clicker game. Hex size makes it near impossible for runners to capture a significant number tiles via loops. Castles in random locations, often unsafe. Updates regularly break the game, including removing things you had bought with money. Leagues are unplayable due to cheating/bugs. Had given this a 2nd chance, deleted now.. Great app with lots of potential. It really makes me want to go outside for a run or a walk. I would love to have more options regarding multiplayer like trading, seeing other empires and more. Thanks for the game!.
BEST GAME but can you guys update the tracking. it worked on my old phone but i just got my new one and its having trouble tracking. but BEST I EVER HAD Also could you add a delete structure in case I didn't need one?. I think this has a lot of potential, id like to see a greater emphasis on multiplayer gameplay. I want to be able to see other players territory and attack, defend my own, forge trade routes with players, create alliances, take over territory or just loot them. Taking castles of of other players without being able to see their empire or any other interaction feels lackluster.
This game is great,I'm a cable technician so I am always on the move and all over...I do have a few suggestions that are mostly cosmetic. - civilization skins. You see Romans, Egyptians, Greeks, mongols...why not let people pick their civilization? I love the Viking/medieval feel. Each one having their own decorative structures -time periods. Maybe you don't want a super advanced civilization, be able to pick your buildings skins as they unlock. Keep it up, love it.. Just downloaded the game and initially denied the location access then enabled did it now it won't let me play it keeps telling me to enable location access even tho I have and now ive uninstalled reinstalled cleared cache clears storage disabled and reinabled permissions and it stillll won't go past the enable location screen..
STOLE MY MONEY. spent money on the app to get gems and some upgrades then spent weeks grinding. Today it asks for me to login to my account and it reset me to the beginning of the game nothing was transferred over like it said it would either. WILL UPDATE IF ITS FIXED. The first day is fun,, but on the second day I got two thousand subject waiting on the palace. When I want to see them, the app got crashed. Damn.... Please fix this issue, I really like this game. Fix this, then I will make it five star.
