Ive played elder scrolls.vampires fall etc.in first hour this worst game ever.robbed no money.cant kill wolf goblins nothing.bought flanking skill rogue..does nothing.stealth skill 8seconds i cant sneak or kill anything that fast all see me i died 50 times first hour..im delete game..and start over as fighter.if not stronger at start going in trash bin..as fighter find no equipment hours bought 1armour..hired thief he died first fight.second quest 3 zombies..tried 2hrs died 100times.rubbish game. A fun game, undeniably. The only things I would have done differently would have been to allow the players to equip the hired helpers with better armor and weapons and to allow different classes to be hired. But, still, it's an amazing game that's worth playing..
Fantastic! Simple but fun and with many, many quests and outcomes... A real tribute to DnD like old school RPGs... The story is so well thought out, and well, I hope the developers come back to this game not long from now! EK is a gem.. It's a classic game I feel like I'm playing a game from the olden days while it's medieval like. It also has a lot of good storyline to the game. The game also has quests!!! so I highly recommend it..
Personally, I found this to be a life-changing game. When I first got it, I loved it so much. I played it for hours and hours without getting bored. It is quite sad that I've beaten the game and explored EVERYWHERE, so I really hope it gets an update. Or a new game. Either way, I will always love this game, and will never get bored of it. This game is so much like NOX, this old computer game where you get sucked into your TV and become an RPG adventurer. I love the game, truly immersive and addictive, but I think three things would make it less tedious 1)provide a fast travel system to places you've already been too 2)restrict access to places were your level is too low 3)provide markers for quests so that players can easily know where to go to, if it weren't for YouTube vids I wouldn't have finished 70% of the quests, please put these requests into consideration. Its really worth it. Old fashioned game with all the benefits of an old fashioned game. Enjoyed my journey in the world. I started following the story in this game which I haven't done in so many years in other shtty games!.
This is literally the best phone game anyone has ever made, and it compeates with most console games. This isn't a game made to steal your money, it's a true experience and I can't recommend it enough. If you like phone games, get this one. This "RPG" commits two cardinal sins right of the back. First, dialogue options that are literally useless and pigeon-holes you into a situation where you are punished for choosing the only option that actually progresses your game. Now you are punished as the game completely robs you of your low-level gear and then your character whines at the town guard about how they can't help you, instead of just describing the person that robbed you and going from there. What a waste of writing and time.. Surprise delight! This game has really grabbed hold of me. I haven't been interested in a mobile game's story in forever. The movement controls can be a little difficult in combat, so I save often. I have to wear glasses to read the text, but I am playing on a phone, so I accept that (but it would be nice to have some solution in game... maybe I have missed it, somehow). Those little issues aside, the game challenges in just the right way (for me). I genuinely recommend giving this game a try..
I went ahead and purchased the premium version of this game and it comes with a HUGE amount of content. It does a really good job with basic RPG elements like unique quest givers, several Guild systems, and a reputation system. This game really seems like an honest throwback to late 90s / early 2000s Dungeon Crawlers. If you just want a single player RPG experience, with a good leveling system, and offline play; here you go.. Amazing. It's by far one of the best mobile games I've ever played. It's such a simple yet fun game. The open world is very big, and there's 4 classes to choose from. There's a lot of different weapons and enemies. My favourite class is Mage, mostly because it has a pretty wide range of skills and advanced skills. I only wish there was a possibility to become a necromancer, but oh well. I highly recommend buying the full version of this game, it's cheap and super worth it!.
This game is just fantastic. No micro transactions, old school gameplay, and very difficult if you want it. They are also going to be coming out with a sequel so it can only get better. In order to unlock the full game it is just a one time payment but is completely worth it! Years later it is still great.. Excellent old school single player RPG. You don't manage a large party in this one, and there isn't a roster of characters, you get to make your own. You can have one companion and some of them can be managed..
Got to say not played in time but it's a really good game hands down keep up this amazing game there so much to do and explore does get hard when a mage but I really have to say it's was worth bye in this game. I love this game. It's simple, the story is interesting and every class has their own little quirk and obstacle to overcome. You can finish the story without the wiki, but I'd definitely recommend using it for first timers. Also, the snark and sarcasm of the NPCs is absolutely magnificent. The only thing to criticise is the size and location of the controll pads. It'd be great if these could be placed individually and sized bigger (I already have them on maximum size). Besides that, very great!. The game is one of the best ive played in over 20 years of gaming. Well written lore, and mechanics. The unique fetures of its kind on par with rpg to shape the industry like Golden Sun and the Tales games of mana, so on, but feels as ingrosing as the witcher 3 and Diablo. would recommend to friends..
After playing this game for six years, today I finally reached the ONLY acceptable ending: killed the "magister" and all of the "forsaken" BEFORE they could reveal the secret heritage. There is absolutely NO reason to save the world after the secret is revealed. Thanks to the YouTube channel Evil Watermelon for revealing the true path.. It's pretty accurate to old games like this. I have a few issues though. You run WAY fast when traveling diagonally, the progression is a bit slow, and there is pretty little loot. The frustrating issue I have is the healing mechanics. No hp regen unless you're on the lowest difficulty. You start with 1 or 2 heals and you have to go back to town everytime you want more. Health pots are expensive and enemies hit hard af. Yes cloud. Yes achievements but they seemed to stop working for me.
Love it, been playing for years. I honestly wish more games would take a cue from them, I only wish the toggle would stress the thumb less. The reason? I can't play for hours! That's the only complaint I have, is that the controls will make your hands ache after 1+ hour of game play, I really wish it was designed in a way so I could play for longer periods.. I know this is good game but it want work on my tablet now please fix it . Thank you for fixing the game . It works better now thank you . But I wish the drop rate of rare things is not to good but thank you that it better..
I've never ever hated a game, it's level design and the developers that made it more than this game and its Frozen Depths level. Its not the "hard but fair" kind. More like "what kind of sociopath thinks this is even remotely fun" kind. The game is like this in general, really. More frustrating than fun. I've played until lvl 11 as a mage and then I was sick of the game. Who ever finishes this game must be next level masochist.. I bought the full version of the game in 2016, and often return to this massive world, determined to get further and further! I've never had issues, but today, after weeks of playing, it's locked me out, won't acknowledge my full license, and has left me stra red, unable to move off a region, effectively bricking the game! Have tried all the suggested workarounds, but... Nope!.
Freaking awesome little retro top down action rpg. I bought the full version after playing to the limit of the free, and I was just as happy with the extra content as I was with the free(that doesn't happen often)! So if you want an actually fun time waster on your phone, this one's for you. I know I like it, and I haven't beat the full version yet. Fantastic game, even without the $5.50 or so for the full game, you get alot of content. It's really easy to pick up and start whenever you want. Casual difficulty allows you to quicksave whenever you need so you can go make those stupid choices and try again. I would definitely give this a chance if you haven't yet..
This is a fantastic game if you love D&D styled play & adventure. Played it a few years back, & again now, with even more added content. If you enjoy RPGs that you can play off line, THIS IS THE ONE TO GET! It has extensive features, huge plot line with 100+ side quests within a huge realm. Multiple outcomes and endings & full wiki help If you are going to spend a few bucks on a great game that will keep you going, this is one I would purchase over & over for the small cost. Not P2W at all.. I have a suggestion. Please update this game this game is super good.. graphics are great as it is. but please make the item visible and add some clarity like when I wear a s class armor and low class armor I brought in the Blacksmith. I notice some armors looks similar . Also the weapons equipped. I've played this game for long time and i got some s class weapons. too bad I cannot see my sword full capabilities when it comes to the appearance. I hope the game dev can make a difference...
For the first time in a long time I feel like this is truly a wonderful game it's has great graphics despite it being a old style game wonderful storey line awesome gameplay and even some funny things to please keep this game updated it's awesome and deserves praise this game even Supports controler use awsome game.. The closest to what I sought by a time zone after quite a few games played. In fact was one of the earliest, I forgot about it then ran out of interesting possibilities, and from my not installed list came a fav! On this device movement sometimes gets squirrely, especially during location shift. The giant world is unforgiving from start new game, even on the opium den difficulty. I like to think the PC isn't getting penalized for opting for a 'paladin' reply with such an emotion-filled cast. .
It's like old school Diablo but more fleshed out and has an enormous map. Multiple towns and factions. The story is well written and the character's are great too. This game deserves more recognition in my opinion. It's difficult at first for mages but they eventually become badace.. Omg you're making Archelund. This is an amazing RPG. It was hard to get the hang of, but after you do, there are many aspects you can appreciate. It's well worth the $5, in my opinion. The only real problem with this game is the fact that there isn't more of it. I've completed the game with a few different characters and I wish there was more to do. That being the only real problem, 5 stars.. A very exciting game, keeps you captivated and engage. I have to say that it's still incomplete, like the ports of liberty and Freetown is not accessible even the orc kingdom. Luv to explore them and do some "adventuring". Like I want say this is this game has alot ALOT of potential it can rival many PC and other stream line games. It is the one of the best with "swordigo" in the mobile(phone) section..
This might be the perfect retro RPG gaming experience. It is one of the best PlayStore purchases I have made. The only problem I can find is that the text is too small for mobile. Changing to the simple font does help, but it could still be a problem for some people. If so, there is a Steam version, or it is possible to streamcast to a TV..
