After playing a bit more it got dumb pretty quick. 23 units vs 3 and I lose 7? Oddly the computer wins most battles by a landslide. I tried playing on normal mode, its not normal at all. Its lacking a campaign mode but really its a good start. It does run well and once you figure it out then the game is fun. You cant beat the price and it has no ads or other junk. The scenarios are individual maps that you can play. The computer is tough enough to be fun.. I've had this on my wishlist and you can bet I'll buy that for a dollar! Am stoked to give it a whirl and hope you catch on with all the old school RPG and tactics players out there and build on your success. It is a great game, great concept and mechanics maybe the simultaneous turn should be slower or unit per unit idk it's kinda weird, I would love to see a conquest map where each race can develop and all maps could work together with the foundation of a fully upgraded capital and the conquering of new territories, thanks for the game devs. BEST GAME EVER No seriously, I have been LOOKING for a game like this for ages. A casual strategy game which feels like the golden oldies. Turn based for optimal mobile usage. Has layers of strategy, different units, spells, factions, maps etc etc. Bug/crash is minimal, and I'm talking keeping the game open continuously so that I can play in between toiletbreaks/extra time etc, whilst using my phone for all kinds of normal stuff, ignoring the game completely for hours to see my battle waiting!. This is a really interesting project, different from HMM. I hope developers will improve the game, because I think the game has potential and is underrated..
Fun game until turn 16 or so when the "normal" setting npc is so rediculous you cant keep up. Having 4 armies with over 20 units each is insain.. I really wanted to like it, being a big fan of the HoMM series but...there's a real lack of content and a lot of homogenization in this game that keep it from realizing its full potential. Idk if the devs will update but I hope it's not abandoned!. I want to like this game but the controls are clunky and it makes the game to complicated to play. When evet I click on a unit I'm stuck on it tell it is fully moved. I sometimes move were I don't want to.. Really fun game for a few days, after that it's simple to beat even on the hardest level. But it has an excellent game mechanic (although, like others, I wish it had an undo for the multiple movement mistakes I made). For a 2 person developer team, I think they did awesome work, and recommend downloading just for that reason! Play it for a bit, you'll be glad you did. *** Almost two years later and I still find myself coming back to play a session every once in a while. Great game!.
The game is fun, full of both a simple system, and interesting power interactions. The only thing that bothers me is the lack of more races/heroes and most especially no online multiplayer. It's a grayed out button which is frustrating.. It's fine? But with weird and annoying controls and no campaign or narrative to ease players it, it's all a bit overwhelming despite being a simply game.. Great game. It would have been nice to have a story to go along with the sweet gameplay. I'm sure they are getting the online play going based on the option that you can't select at the moment.. With either a story or online play the game wouldn't feel a little too... Flat. Nice, simple game with enough variety to stay interesting. However, like others have mentioned the controls ultimately got too frustrating for me and sucked the fun out. The big one is switching between armies takes too many steps and prone to mistakes. Plus, many of the buttons and graphics do not line up very well making them hard to click or again leading to frustrating errors..
Very enjoyable turn-based game. Very cute graphics, classic turn-based gameplay. Could do with a campaign, with ramping difficulty etc. But well worth the price as it is.. Ive been looking for this game in the play store and I finally glad that I found it, This game is super addictive I already knew it was gonna be good I know there's no story to it so I just role play in my head as I play it lol I hope you can get back into making new updates like maybe add a story this time or maybe more heros with new units but must of all..I love thie game either way 10 Out Of 10. This game is great, and looking at the playstore details it's still being updated and developed. A hidden gem that should be more visible. Looks like a small team based on their forums, but doing an amazing job in continuing to polish this gem!. Amazing game, and kudos for offline multiplayer, it really helps during flight! Would be great to have better AI, especially on large maps it fails in terms of development and exploration.
Bought it about a year ago and wince then it hasn't seen any updates whatsoever. No new content, no online mode just the same stuff I've played through twice. The concept is great (HoMM like) but the AI poor (HoMM like).. Very nice game. Very polished and smooth. The style is similar to the classic Heroes of Might and Magic. The option to team up in hot seat made a very fun "co-op" mode that I really enjoy playing with my son. Really glad I bought it, and can't wait for the campaign mode.. Amazing game. Would be nice to have a few players use same device to play. Like a hot seat option.. This developer is a nice guy and deserves the cost of this game, even if the game won't get any more updates. Great nostalgia fix for homm fans!.
Absolutely love this game. It is a fun, well thought out turn based strategy game with different options to make it more challenging. I would give 5 stars if there was a random map generator as the campaign can get a bit stale after several playthroughs.. Needs to add a few more features such as online mode, the possibility to split armies, increase number of breeds and buildings available, more neutral enemies across the map, etc but in general the game looks great.. Visually impressive. Gameplay smooth and easy to grasp. Fair variation between factions. Sorely missing is online play and a campaign which is why I've given 3 stars as its doesn't have much replayability.. I was searching for a game like total war warhammer or at least something like it on mobile, this was the only one that did not dissapoint. Gameplay is on point, grapichs are excellent and no usual BS you would find on most mobile games. This here is a real game ! If you want a strategy game like warhammer to play offline or multiplayer with friends, this is the way to go, best one ive found in the entirety of the play store.
Good for the price. Replayability is a bit limited but a few upgrades could really give this game legs. More heros, a larger spell spell collection and making the races a bit more different would go pretty far imo.. For a team of 2 this is impressive. Looks pretty and no grinding/energy/payments just a game to play like in the good old days of mobile gaming. I was a big fan of HOMM. The gameplay isn't as deep, but hopefully this will improve with updates. The 2 main issues for me are that units get clustered together on the battlefield so it can be difficult to see which unit you're selecting and attacking and secondly having to deselect units after using them, although I'm getting used to it. Was skeptical at first, but snatched this game up while it was on sale. Honestly ifyou're after an RTS for mobile, this is one of the funnest, best experiences you can find. Just hope for a random map generator, but the current scenarios are plentiful and haven't gotten old, would recommend!. A fun but pared down homage to Heroes of Might and Magic. Combat is enjoyable and decently strategic, however there's really not that much to do on the world map. Game definitely could use more content. A few additional landmarks with various benefits would go a long way, as would expanded hero development with skill trees, or at least the option to recruit an additional hero to your faction..
I LOVE IT ... the look , the controls & mechanics , the concept ( I wish there was a map randomizer ) but , I haven't won yet lol. Playing a few games on normal and it keeps me coming back .... Right now it's small , hope there are plans to expand on it.. Really great game. I finished most of the scenarios, but it would be nice to have some campaigns. I also think the game is really cheap and even a price of up to 5 euros is fine for this game, especially if campaigns are added.. The game is okay but not great so I rated it four stars. There is little to do in the game but it would be better with some kind of mission otherwise the game is a board game. Also you can't choose your faction. The single player mode is really the offline multiplayer mode. That is not how games work. The good thing about the game is it's graphics, it being like a board game. I honestly am going to uninstall it since there is really no point in continuing the game. edit: already tried that.. Definitely the best game that i played in this year. Hopefully the dev team adds more mode like campaign. And to be honest, the enemy level should be increased. I played 1 vs 3 comps with highest difficulty level and still beat it in relatively easy..
Great game but without any depth to it. HoMM Style without any campaign, just scenarios. Online isn't even playable for whatever reason. Tactical play to defeat hardest AI isn't needed. For me, this is not worth the price. I feel like this game has so much potential, but there's so little to do. There are no game modes other than "play a custom battle", which is disappointing. The gameplay itself is okay, but feels monotonous. What I also disliked is that when you aren't careful, it's very easy to accidentally move the wrong units. With more content and features, this could easily be a 4 star game.. Good game. Everything well and haven't come across any bugs. I would like to see some more systems or mechanics added as it gets kinda dull after mastering the fairly simple gameplay mechanics. The single player scenarios are pretty easy however, even on the hardest mode. Haven't really been challenged since I learned how to play. And the undead race is OP imo.. Great game! As others have said already, it's like Heroes of Might and Magic for mobile. But it's done really well. Two thumbs up! Look forward to future updates with new content..
I just wanna give a shout out to the devs of this game, you have really been working hard on adding improvements, like previously said this is like the old homm games and wc3, hopefully we could get a skill tree for our hero and make battles a little more tactical, other than that this game is great you will not regret buying this.. Like the game but it to easy to move the wrong army Instead of the one I won't to move. It's HOMM3. Either that sentence makes sense to you and you've already jammed the buy button, or you need to learn about one of the greatest games ever and THEN jam the buy button.. I'll leave this at 5 stars based on my first impressions and the fact this is actively developed, with developers thoughtfully responding to people with issues. I'm here because HOMM3 is my all-time favorite game and this approaches that. I'll give a good review after spending some time with this. I think I only gave one other 5-star review. I hate pay-to-win -- that turns me off from trying games like this. I'm pleased this is not another pay-to-win game..
It's an enjoyable game. Eventually it'll be nice to have an online multiplayer battle option, other than that, maybe add like a 6th race to play as, such as humans maybe. Iv Ade a previous review and I just wanted to add to it that the devs are seriously awesome....they not only do they respond to your reviews they are continuing to update and improve on this game......I wish all the best for these 2 guys ...you guys created amazing game. Lovely game, simple mechanics of developing the city but works well. Controls and battle mode comfortable to play. The only thing that this game is missing on the first sight is a campaign mode. With campaign it would be ideal game ;) highly recommended. Well... It's kinda flat. There is nothing more to do after your win one map (and that's like an hour long). While there are 4 Factions with 7 army types per each the castles have only 3 upgrades to them, the Heroes (which u can have only one at a time) level up atomatically, and the only resource is Gold. The presentation is nice, but game play - very shallow. To DEVS: connect Scenarios into a Campaign with a Story line..
Solid take on Heroes of Might and Magic. Challenging as well. I've played a couple of games on normal and haven't won yet. Practic remakes perfect...right? Right? I hope it's true :P. Godd over all but need a lot of improvment, campain would be great more control of your town defence upgrade etc... This game reminds me a lot to classic Heroes of might and magic. The control are simple and the gameplay are akin to those games for kids. Really wish there is sequel to this which contain even more complex gameplay mechanism like sending troops to other city or recruit more than one heroes or select one of two routes of troops development.. Game has improved a lot since I last played in 2020. I had a problem with the auto at the time it seemed to have gotten better along with everything else I believe this game should be downloaded if anyone happens to pass by this review. Clear to see the developer took a good amount of time to clear off bugs and add greater content to the game since the release something worth checking out for sure surprised its only 5k downloads.
Great overall experience. Great graphics. The game seriously lacks content in it's current state. You should introduce larger maps, or give a tool to the players to build their own maps.. This game rocks! Reminds me of a combination of "Heroes of Might and Magic" and "Kings Bounty." Playing is a great way to unwind.. Really great game. Not as complex as HoMM but really good. The only problem is the few maps available. You can only play scenarios and, after a week, you have played them all. More maps. And sandbox mode would be great.. Great homm3 homage. Didn't like it at first but then it clicked and I love it. Needs better onboarding since I missed a few features that I only discovered by accident later. Touch controls can be a bit fiddly sometimes too, seems to misinterpret taps and swipes initially, but you get used to it. Good game though, just pointing out some improvement areas for the Devs!.
I'm very surprised this game has so few downloads, people commenting about accidental movement, just ensure you deselect your army each time with the little X button, I am careful and have no issues. I love this game, I would love to see more maps, more depth, artifacts and spells! Keep it up guys very impressed. Clearly a labor of love. Finished all the scenarios and would love to see more! It's a great game for those moments when you have nothing to do. Only frustrating thing is the movement. Even after all those scenarios, I still make wrong moves by accident, thinking I'm selecting an army while it makes an already selected army move.. Takes the best parts from HoMM and Age of Wonders. Runs great and looks nice for an android game. This is by FAR the best game of this genre I have ever found on Android. Its clear that the creators love those classic games. Would be 5 stars but: 1) Some hero and unit combat abilities are bugged 2) No way to undo a movement order on overland map, causes much rage 3) Game needs caravan ability like HoMM4 so u can bring armies from far away cities 4) Needs random map gen. Devs PM me pls!. The has been really good! But somehow I'm not liking the new update. It's simply unlimited resources at some point. In one map, no matter how many units you or the computer have the daily income is not reducing. I liked the older version much more!.
Great Game Lots of Fun, Should deffintly add a way to play local Multiplayer from more then one device, Hot seat is fun but more devices in a LAN game would be great!. The game itself is quite fun and each faction feels unique to the game which is also great. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is due to a game crash during a battle where everything was frozen after the enemy turn, and because some of the objects on the world map have been spotty in whether they show up or not. Overall a fun game that scratches the itch of a turn based fantasy strategy game!. I must be missing something because this game is so boring. I found it on a list of top rated strategy games but there's virtually no strategy involved. You literally just recruit monsters and walk around the map fighting people. There are no decisions to make - you don't even pick the hero you start with. And no story/campaign mode either. So disappointed.. Waste of money. The movement of troops is spoty, very difficult to select a piece and move it. There really isn't much strategy to the game. Its very simple minded. Although it has some of the aspects of a strategy game its arrangement is very juvenile. If not for the difficulty of moving troops I'd say it would be a good game for kids but it's too frustrating to move around the board.
A really good game. Has a bit of a learning curve, especially with the startegy. I remember skipping levels and thinking it was impossible, only to come back later and wonder why it was so easy.. Best game I've seen in a long time. Worth purchasing just to support developers like this, with no IAP and a lot of skill. I find it a shame that many of the best games for Android have such low sales. I was mad when IAP was introduced and, I have come to the conclusion that too many people rather buy their way out of using their brains. HoF is what I think mobile games should be. If you like tactical turn-based games, HoF is a must! Story mode will be even better.. Terrific game. Challenging, gorgeous, intuitive controls (once you get the hang of it). Would love to see some stats when you finish a match, like each faction's total gold collected, units created/killed. But if you like turn-based strategy this hits the spot. Bought the game when it first released on Android. Never had any issues the devs are very active and it continues to get better. Highly recommend to fans of the genera. Not to mention that I love the style of art..
Just started playing, but so for amazing. Been wanting a strategy, with no micro-purchase that most games have. My brother and I are also developers, and thought we haven't made a game in a while, we know how challenging it is. Excellent work. I'm definitely looking forward to new additions. I think some form of story based progression would be cool. Also, I appreciate how tough the game is, reminds me of older games, where you really had to work at it!. Very well made game,great graphics... It does get difficult,possibly a pay wall,but it could be my lack of skill,lol... Not a bad game,tho!!. Looked like a great game. The reviews were promising so I spent the $2. The game is pretty lopsided. It takes way too long to build the army up. Meanwhile, the enemy leader is killed and within just a few minutes is back and even more powerful than before.. Hero's of MM meets Age of Wonders with thoughtful adaptions to make it more phone-friendly. Light turn based strategy with impressive graphics for the type. 100% worth the up-front price with no nasty grasping iaps in sight. Love the sound of your planned improvements- lots of potential here..
Cool game! Looking for a HOMM type game for a long time, and this one comes close! Interesting characters, town development, interesting classes, and quite well balanced! Hope that the game keeps developing with cool updates, perhaps a campaign mode?. Fantastic with a couple requests. It would be cool if there was a full story mode within the game. Secondly, It would be neat if you could unlock more heroes for each race. Have one starter and make it so a second and third could be unlocked, maybe even a choice of different hero to start with. Over all though, fantastic game, well made and I love it!. Really cute game, but needs an undo button and volume control. Version 1.3.6: so buggy I have to abandon most games.. Maybe a great game, but it doesn't seem to have a settings panel anywhere to turn off audio. It's an instant deal breaker for me..
tried to play the tutorial and the game would not let me move on. it would want me to click on a specific building or location but did not do anything when I did.. Greet HOMM type game. Well worth the price and surprisingly polished. I'm yet to find a bug. Looking forward for any future updates. Great job again.. This game is a lot of fun but it runs its course way too fast. Theres a decent variety of playable races but theres no campaign, so you run out of scenarios pretty fast. But its perfect for when you need to kill a half hour or so.. game is generally fun and easy to pick up. not much depth yet, as all skills/upgrades are selected for you (no tree choices). also, a more detailed manual or forum would be nice..

A great mobile "Heroes of _____" game - if you liked heroes of might and magic, this is for you. Whilst it's not as deep as those games, and is seriously lacking a campaign mode, it's fun, the combat is tight, and it presents a challenge. From what I can tell, this has been a passion project for a team of 2. They've resisted the temptation to add IAP's, and the game really shines for it. Absolutely worth the money.. Things i hope to see. Double map size maybe even triple. Which brings up more heros would be needed 2-3. More gear for heros/exploraition map activities. If you have more than one army drag your other army into battle within a certain radius feature..Looks like online multiplayer will be added one day, which is exciting to see. I really enjoy the game so far and hope to see it progress into something bigger. Raise the price if you have to :). Great game! good graphics and gameplay made me want dig out my old homm games. Was abit let down with no campaign or story to it. I think it would have pushed it to five star. Glad you added another race though whats next dwarves or humans ?.
Awesome game! I have been looking for this blend for a while now. Thanks for leaving that in app store nonsense out! Should you want to expand on this system further, that would be sweet! (Like some added hero progression.). This is going to be good. its ok right now as it stands ( more of a three star ) I gave four stars because this has alot of potential. hopefully it will be on par with games like age of wonders before long.. The game is definitely fun and reminds me of playing Hero's of Might and Magic. Hot seat takes me back to early 90s PC gaming with my brother. The maps could be larger but it's 100% worth the money. I hope to see scenario updates in the future. Oh, and no IAPs!!! Don't see that very much without spending $10+. Great game, reminds me of how Heroes of Might and magic, the PC game is. Just needs alot more levels, or maybe even an auto generator. Not even sure if that's possible but still worth a shot..
love the game never left a review before but this will this game was definitely worth doing so. played with 2 of my buddies at NTC cause we were bored and he was searching up this game. was skeptical at first but we spent 4 hrs playing it as hot seat. we all ended up buying the game. only thing we need it the multiplayer function so we could play together when we're out in the field. Dobry den ;) Alas I have some issues: 1. Edit: The tutorial is now working and Lord Hycis is moving before I enter the enemy territory and even in the when I enter it 2. Not many sounds. E.g. I am using a spell like a fireball but it makes no sound, that is not satisfying... When you move you should hear sounds depending on the unit like footsteps, wings, an ethereal sound etc. And when the whole army moves it would be nice to hear a marching sound. I like the graphics. It's ok. I like the art style, but animations could be smoother. Also, the game needs a campaign mode rather than a just a handful of skirmish maps. S9. Feels a little bit incomplete... missing soundtrack and SFX during gameplay... etc! I hope these issues will be settle with a much needed (audio) update to make a better game experience! .
This is great all around. The game is really fun and the devs show dedication to continued development. I've seen the devs reading feedback and actually acting on it. I also appreciate that there is a reasonable price for the game and no microtransactions. Can't wait to see what the future brings for this game/team.. Awesome artstyle, nice map mechanics, but lacks combat and strategic depth. It feels that most of the battles are just won by bigger armies. Also, would be great to see more races, and maybe leveling up of normal units. The game controls make it easy to take accidental actions screwing up any advantage. It might be easily fixed by introducing some sort of a redwing button.. I've been waiting for these kinds of games without microtransactions. Played the tutorial and that alone is worth the price.. I don't want to be too negative because I'd like to see it succeed. The biggest issue is that there is almost no content, a dozen units, 2 races.. I really would like to see more, so support the dev and hope he keeps working it..
Great game but for now still too buggy to consider paying for it. Hope future updates will focus on fixing them. (game overwrites your save files with autosave, random bug that causes that you can't end your turn). Very likeable game with fantastic 3D rotate view. If you like games like Heroes, you will like this one as well...
