Generic idle game, not a clicker. Fun to pass the time. No pay walls. Edit: constant crashing on Galaxy S24, works fine on my s23. This game and others from the publisher seem stuck in development limbo, only additions are for more money.. Late game edit (Level 69): Great Title. Early game is very thoughtful, and unlocking things frequently require a bit more play time. I enjoyed it. Mid to late game is very slow. You hit frequent walls depending on your luck of the draw, unfortunately. Being Mid game feels like you're required to play events to progress. Events: I have stopped playing as frequently and have just been accepting my free capsules with my upgrades.. I was really excited about this game but I'm sorry, as an ancient history nerd I can't get over equating "the bronze age" with Classical era Rome I gave it a high rating because hh games are always fun and well designed but that literally bothered me enough to make me uninstall :x.
Good game, has a nice gameplay loop to it, non intrusive ads if you don't want them however biggest problem for me is that it crashes 50% of the time when redeeming a shuttle or quest reward. Very painful, loose a bunch of progress every time. Not sure I can keep playing. Samsung galaxy S24 Ultra, also reading other reviews it's been an issue for months with no fix in sight.. Had to abandon an event 3 days before it ended because it was absolutely impossible to advance without paying. EDIT: the event wasn't "challenging", it was just impossible to continue without paying, there's nothing more to it, things moved too slowly at one point and the only way to make any progress was by spending real money on it, which I wouldn't do, so I quit..
Have been playing for over a month. Bought the history pass twice. Tried to play this afternoon and all my progress including my event progress has been completely wiped out. So ive lost where i was and over $20 Edit to 4 stars because of the help i received. I didnt get my account back completely, but they did a good job trying to make it right. Response to developer - yesterday's outage was the final straw. I won't experience further issues as I no longer use the app!! Was good until the latest update, since then it's been quite unstable. I was getting bored with it anyway, all the events are, essentially, the same. Now I can't access the game, just as the event is ending. Uninstalled.
I love the concept & mix of real/fiction characters, but overall this game is more tiresome then fun. Even when you progress, you never really move forward in the game cuz everything resets with each new rank, forcing you to do again what you just spent hours/days doing. Ads are voluntary, but 1 in 3 freezes the game When they do work, the rewards are too small. The bottom up method is annoying too. I dont like having to confirm a lesser purchase just b/c Ive unlocked older relics.. After playing the game too much, I can say it's a decent time killer every now and then, the new update is nice, but I do wish that either A) Players have the ability to upgrade extra copies of fully maxed managers. Example: 5 lvl-13 Blue Managers -> 1 New or Great idle game, too many ads and you can't remove them by paying. Without ads this would be one of my fav games Edit: ads are optional but if you want to rank high in event you have either to watch all ads or spend money to buy chests. It's literally just AdVenture Communist but worse. They got rid of the ad warp feature for some reason, and the "time pods" (air drops of this game) don't have the ad free after 10 watches in one day thing. Just play AdCom for the same thing but better. I figured after so long they'd make the third in the AdVenture series be significantly different like AdCap to AdCom but nope. Came back to it because I literally forgot I played it before.. I don't remember playing it but I must have because I started at level 7 in the middle of the game with no idea what was going on and no obvious way to restart or reset my account so I could play from the start/do a tutorial. I unlinked my account but it made no difference and I don't have a different account to log into.. This app is fun, but it crashes a lot and can be pretty unreliable. Sure there are ads to watch, but I feel like they're less shoved in your face than on other mobile games. There's one thing that bugs me a little. When you're attempting to deploy some more units, a screen pops up to ask "are you sure?" I wish there was a way to disable this.. It's a fine game, but I'm disappointed at lack of innovation. It's basically a reskin of Adventure Communist with minimal changes. Just like in AVC, non-automated industries are almost useless because they are tedious to manage, so you put in more effort for lower reward. Bringing back "Quick run" button from Capitalist could help alleviate that? idk. I really hope HyperHippo innovates more in next entry. They can't just keep making the same game over and over.. Great game, my only issue with it is that as someone who usually turns off the sound for most games he plays, there's a really frustrating bug that will randomly turn the sound back on, even though it's actually still turned down in the settings. The only way I can fix it is to go into the settings and turn the volume back up for both the music and sound effects and then turn them back down again. Thanks in advance.. Good game that I've had downloaded for a long time, but I really wish there was an option that would let us select a specific percentage rather than 1%, 10%, 50% or max. Alternatively being able to type a specific number would also be good.. So addictive! Really enjoyable, easily achievable events whether FTP or with monthly pass. Only real benefit of pass is permanent x2 boost. Ads are completely optional and not necessary unless you are micromanaging the game and prone to frustration. The only bugs I have encountered are from adverts, and that's the ad provider's responsibility. I love these games. I've never found anything else quite the same. They've adjusted the events so that it is possible to complete with lots of time and obsession if you'd rather give that than pay to play! I love that and it was the final piece to make this my fav game I love adv com as well, I just don't have time for both as I obsess! I think the monthly pass is worth it. I would love if they could add the remaining ad count on the time pods with the countdown until they refresh please. As an avid player of the game, having gotten back into it about a month ago, I do genuinely enjoy it, but it's far too slow in most cases. Events are nigh impossible to complete, and I'd be okay if it was just a ranking thing, but to complete the missions you either need to be on the game as often as possible or spend money. The main game has left me at a standstill because of the missions. I need one to advance, but what they ask is ridiculous. It would take months to get one done.. Lives up to it's category of "idle", that's for sure. That's basically all it does. I've been "playing" (watching ads) for a few months now and the events are almost impossible to complete. So, this week I decided to buy two packages (about $20 total). I'm stuck on level 26 with two impossible missions despite watching every ad and upgrading every card (-1). $20 and I can't even complete a ten day event? I think I'd rather have spent that money on a jarred fart.. Not a bad game, but if you have played one idle game then you have played them all. Basically, you're just looking at numbers the whole time. There is nothing that gives you a feeling of being a time traveler.. It's exactly like AdVenture Communist but with muddy graphics. There are a lot of idle games going with this style, and it's never a good thing. All the manager cards look the same. The gameplay is good, play AdCom instead.. I love the artstyle and the concept! I just hope that there's a catalogue of collection or something, that would be cool! So we still be able to see the characters we've got from various events even when the events is over.. Enjoyed this game for close a year, even buy the monthly boost pack every month. Just had my first ad that started at 45 seconds and when it hit zero it showed another clip for at least 10 seconds. No longer playable. It's an alright pass-time, but you're required to watch ads to make any progress (no option to remove), and events are basically pay-to-win as you can't make progress otherwise. Edit: reducing to 1 star as they use a malicious ad provider to open popup style ads to bypass privacy protection, and have done nothing about it.. I've always enjoyed the AdVenture games, this definitely being one of them. It's not as good as Capitalist, in my opinion, but this game certainly has its charm. I'd recommend a look, especially if you've played and enjoyed the other AdVenture titles.. It's a moderately decent time killer, but the "special events" are unbalanced. Unless you spend $$$ you won't finish the event to receive all the rewards before it ends. Played too many games that pull the exact same tactic. Most likely won't be keeping this game for long.. This game didnt make me play it as long as other idle games have. The issue mainly comes from the prestige system not giving a major power spike, but instead increasing the power cap that you have by unlocking new heroes. On short, the game lacks major power spikes that make your monkey brain go happy. Love all of your adventure games except this one because u just made adventure communist but in a different skin, would like to see another adventure game but with a twist of itself and not a "copy" of a one thats already exist. Pay to win but even when you pay for all the boost you can't even finish an event 100% without buying $50 worth of time warps. Was thinking spending a little money would be fun but it's unbelievably frustrating how little you get for your purchases.. I'm sorry to give this review but I'm fed up. I really enjoyed this game. It's been a go to for months. I've watched the ads, even given some money because I enjoyed it. But it's ridiculous that the cards on the events are completely random. Without paying actual money, it's a crapshoot if I'll actually be able to enjoy the higher levels. Two days stuck on the same level, waiting for a card to appear. At least ONE instance of a new card should be built in automatically to keep the game going.. Don`t even think of doing events, you can never complete them. Doesn`t matter if you watch every ad, you will never finish an event unless you spend money. There is no in app help. Just camouflage. No change. Just subterfuge. SEND US An in app message when they set the algorithm to ensure the results.. I was really enjoying this game, I've been playing for quite a while and now I discover you can't even reach the end. Last hero is released at level 150 but there is no way to level up after you hit level 140. Lot of time wasted here.. One of the better clickers but events are not completable without spending cash or a least a lot of premium currency. Also some ads are just terrible (almost a minute or requering multiple clicks to close). Other than that it's a nice clicker with some unique mechanics (same as Adventure Communist) Update : removed one star because events are getting worse and worse, you advance 15 lvl in 4h but then getting stuck for 5 days on the same level because card drops or objectives are just awful.. It's an ok idle clicker but I had a major bug, it gets to the free time warp, I collect it then it just gets stuck with the robot saying "first time is on me" and I can't do anything no matter what. Kinda annoying as I literally can go no further in the game. Would've had more stars though. Before you ask, I tried all the normal fixes but it still happens :'(.
