there's some problem with the game, like when the rule told you to let in people from this city but when you did youget fined. but for the most part, the game didn't have much problem, and I enjoy it quite a lot.. Edit: hoped it would have been updated but last update was 2 years ago. It's "Papers Please" on Android; if the original creator wasn't involved in this then he was ripped off. It looses a little something in it's translation from PC to Android; it tries hard to balance the aesthetic with qol improvements and it does a decent job but it just shows that surprisingly struggling with the mouse was part of the fun.. This is a simple, yet very engaging game. I finished both story modes a couple of times, and finished the casual mode as well. Overall it's an excellent way to kill time. The game is straightforward to understand, and easy to pick up. There are some slight language issues, but nothing that affects the game itself. I'm hoping the developers decide to update the game with either a new story, or by making the "Endless" option actually work. *I did not play "Papers Please" prior to this.
It's nice, if you get the play pass (which has a 3 month free trial) you can get this for free and with all the decoration options. Very good game, I do want a sandbox mode where you can change the options of how often certain events happen etc. Overall 5 stars!. This game is actually a spin-off version of Papers Please but it has its own style if I can say that. I rate it an 8.5/10 since it is interesting and a way to play Papers Please in mobile. The casual mode is actually nice and the story mode is the best part since it is like Papers Please and it has its own 2 plots which is actually good. Overall it is a very good time killer game and I would recommend it to play..
It's ok and fun for waiting in line or waiting before before the movie start at the theater and your date doesn't look as much as her tinder profile picture and you're trying to find find a god damn reason to leave but you can't because there a two obses and gifantics persons blocking the way out of the alley seats so you open your phone hoping there is some battery left and ooo damn you're seeing the icon game in your mobile phone app drawer ... Clicking on it... Playing 5,10 min and realize... It upsets me how much is the exact same as papers please, but less polished. I like how there's a set number of people each day. I appreciate the different story lines but I just couldn't get myself too invested because now that papers please is on mobile, I just went back to that..
It feels like a knock off of a old school game I played once... But it was fun, till I had to pay attention to the conversation with the visitors... The transcript function tends to start at the bottom of the scroll and put the words BELOW the bottom of the viewable area.. fix that and I'll add a star.. I liked the idea and the game, but basing one of the levels around the conspiracies that came out of Covid showed lack of imagination, and only helps to fuel the nutters. Also, no matter how well I did on the last level, the amount I needed to leave with my wife increased to always be just out of reach..
I first downloaded this a couple years ago and I come back to it every now and again when I see it's been updated. Though, there isn't much more to the game now as compared to then. It's nice to see some new campaigns being made, but I've been waiting for endless mode since my first playthrough. I don't want to decorate my desk, I want endless mode. I reviewed this when I originally played the game, but my review seems to have disappeared. Don't touch it. It's a badly made, badly translated version of Papers, Please. I submitted multiple bug reports and offered advise which was accepted but ignored because each time they fixed one bug, another came up. While the original wasn't on Android, this was the best we could get. However, now the original is available, this is one to be avoided..
After choosing the option to walk to work, the animation scrolls to the top of the screen. The remainder of that animation then takes up half the screen, so I can not see the game clearly. The ingame feedback/email option also doesn't function as when I click it, nothing happens. The icon of a person with a headset on the main menu of the game also doesn't function.. discrepancy system is quite ridiculous, a woman with a hat which was clearly 150 and the height on the id said 177, this means just because she had a hat that was part of her height?, NO ITS NOT BECAUSE ITS A HAT NOT HER HEAD AND THE HAT WAS GOING TO 177 NOT HER ACTUAL HEIGHT BECAUSE IF SHE WAS ACTUALLY 177 THE ID THEN WOULD HAVE SAID 204 BECAUSE OF THE GODDAMM HAT, quite ridiculous if i say myself but thats all i have to say and overall the game is fine but that error really made me mad.
Really cheap knock off of papers please, no sounds, the writing is really poor the sounds are really no good, give them credit for the art but the game isnt ready at all, give it a year or so focusing on the parts I mentioned and maybe it will have a chance to warm my heart. I love this game. It has better screen than the Original papers please,much more comfortable and less stressing. But the problem is that the game is so silent, no sounds when they talk, no sounds from the outside, just complete silence and it feels so empty. It makes the game kind of boring. Please add voice and environment sounds, like cars passing by, etc. It would make the game experience better..
It's alright. Dialogs are childish (possibly due to the translation, which is just acceptable enough to understand what's going on). There isn't much of a challenge, and I wasn't able to connect with the characters at all. That said, there were no bugs or unexpected surprises in the single run I played. In general, It's an OK game to kill time, very short too.. If you you're a fan of papers please you will love this. Although it doesn't have the same edgy feeling papers please has it doesn't fail to have it's own style. Try being a complete heartless bastard, or take on an anti government role and let the rebels through..
I'm a huge fan of Papers Please so I wanted to enjoy this game, but the wording and formatting ruin the experience. The amount of exclamation marks makes the dialogues feel very artificial and emotionless. There are minor mistakes in sentence composition that take away from immersion too... Graphically the game is easy on the eyes and enjoyable but in case of a game that relies so heavily on story and dialogues it's not enough. When I was playing it said only Artaguana or Denber could pass.... AND I GOT FINED FOR LETTING IN A PERSON FROM F-ING ARTAGUANA! But over all it's a pretty good game. But I'm only giving it 3 stars cause of what happened..
Fun game, except in story mode. It doesn't matter how much money I have, on the last day the price changes for travel, and it's never enough in order for both of us to travel. On many occasions the gifts on my desk dont get counted at the end of the day usually on the last 3-4 days it seems.. Anyone rating the game below 5 stars is a critic. Let me just say this game is worth every penny, this can even be best mobile game of all time. It comes with a lot of content to consume, a great story and even challenges. The best part is you need no wifi and theres zero ads. Absolute banger props to the development team..
It's Papers Please lite. Most of the same mechanics and basically the same setting. That said, Papers Please is a good game to copy, and if you found a thrill in checking paperwork there, you'll find it here too. The automatic "NEXT" option is a nice addition, and, since it doesn't have all mechanics from Papers Please, it's slightly easier. However, the main thing I hate is the dialog. I don't know the developers first language, but nothing said sounds natural or mature. That's all I can fit.. I like the gameplay but the story, especially the virus, can be improved. Also, the game crashes in the middle of the level and it doesn't save your progress so you'd have to replay that level all over again. Considering the storyline and stability of the game, not worth the money..
It's a half decent papers please clone, but it's a bit sloppy. Animations are not good, mechanics a bit messy and story forced and predictable. Anyway there are some fun to be had, but I doubt I will come back to it. The whole "vaccines give you brain microchips" idea is a bad message for such delicate topic!. This is a very good game. Id say it has a good story to it. It makes you think fast whether to Deny or Accept a person's entry. It also relies on context at times and depending on what you think, whether its justified to let the person pass border or not..
The game is running fine, but a couple of times when the ID is missing, you get penalized for Rejecting by telling you they were perfectly ok to pass the gate, but if you Approve instead, it'll tell you the ID was missing, so it seems there is no way around it and you'll get fined in the game anyways..
