I remember this game from over a decade ago when I first played it and im glad I found it again. Just wish I could recover my old account.. EDIT:!: W H Y will the game NOT UPDATE? unreal that call, contacts and other permissions are REQUIRED? to play? suxxz wants money, money money . Won't even open cause I won't allow it access to my contacts or make phone calls. It doesn't need that.. RUN AWAY!!! A "free game" you never finish paying for, because it is always trying to tempt you to buy more game gold. Also, it is the worst (so-called) wargame I have ever seen. It is almost a pinball game with a war theme. Game developers know NOTHING about how wars work. I quit this game in Nov 2021 after 8 years, & I am so GLAD, I will never go back to it. I was sorry to leave behind friends, but it taking too much time & $. And most of the time was spent on boring repetitive make-work.. I remember when they use to make new servers once a week now since they made there money and sold to a new owner they haven't made new servers this is proof on how to kill a game.
Only loading screen?????? I will change it once it's opened I used to play few years ago but now not even opening. We have started an unpublished chat about the fact that this game has racist undertones. There is no heros reprresenting Black or African phenotypes. As a player amongst others who have played and been a part of the AOWE for a decade plus we show our disapproval by way of limiting our play to the basics and refrain from monetary support through in game purchases until some heros representing our genetical dictate is are made available. It is unfortunate that this game is a slight to us and God.. This is not a playing game. It's a buying game. Unless you have big pockets and ready to spend a lot stay away from this game.. Not sure why it want our privacy to play this game. It is access to photo, contacts, phone calls,... Uninstalled it even before playing..
I have liked playing this game for many years . It's fun but not so easy so it keeps me interesed in this game and you don't have to have a lot of gold to get six star hero .. Cheaters have taken over the game on all servers. Everyone can buy envelopes outside of the game for a low price and the game support does not stop the cheating. So you will waste your time and money.. They want your contacts and all phone permissions. A game has no purpose for these, they're just collecting data to sell. Well been playing from the start and now my account has been deleted.. so screw them after every thing I spent on this game.
SPYWARE, PHONE HACKING permissions needed in order to play this game. They demand access to your phone contacts, photos etc and for them to be able to use your phone to make calls and possibly to completely control your phone. You CAN'T play without giving those permissions. That's called phone hacking and is illegal. The game has been a zombie for at least 7 year's and should've been shut down a long time ago. Now though, it's evolved into a potential phone/tablet/ PC stealing app. AVOID!!!. I love this game. I've been playing it on and off over the years and it never gets old. I actually met some people on this game to whom am good friends with now. I love this game and its content.. When I try to remind to my Google it gives me an error message that says unknown issues with Google play. Great game and plenty of fun interactive and competitive events to keep you occupied. Don't expect to be the Boss Hog unless you got serious money to drop on the game though. free players are still able to make a huge impact in events and become very strong you will just have to be patient and just play! If you play you will get there eventually. In this game patience and grinding are absolutely necessary. Again, a great game and great friends to be made here!.
Spend money if you want to see yourself as top in Game this game is totally for buyers if you want to collect best rewards spend money. Too many hackers ruin the game. Developers are looking for $$. So if you're a free player good luck to you. Started playing in 2015 and took a few years off.. GM RC behaviour is very bad he always ignored problems of people in there own telegram groups and blame peoples and if you ask any questions related to game they will kick you out from group they just want to protect there game reputation and services is very bad RC don't listen to people and if you want to explore your problems in details in there group they will ban you from group and kick you out they only wants money money and services is really bad because of behaviour of GM I am giving 1*. The game is fruad... The developers change your power and give them selves everything for free. Do that you have to spend to keep up, but they have the power to take it away from you if they want....
They still not included heroes from Africa so i can only give 2 stars... 5.23.2022, now they get reduced to 1 star.... Age of Warring Empires, I contacted the people who created the game and ask them if they would put African kings like Shaka Zulu as part of their Warriors system they refused that's why I can only get better a 2 star rating they'll have fictitious Warriors who are still Asian or Anglo but no African.... It is still a good game good for the gray matter but no African Heroes.. Why you need access to my contacts and need to make calls.. not going to play now.. was ready to spend as well but your loss. logged in after a 3 year break and to my surprise one of my guildmates took care of it and everyone elses, dead server no merges in a while. Looked like he had spent thousands of dollars on it but when I asked him why he said he had found a hacker charging 1:10 so $100usd got you $1000 worth of gold. Thats incredibly unfair and explains alot. Save your money, build a gaming pc and play real games that arent pay to win like this one.. I've been playing this game since 2013 and now they want your info and access to you data this is trash me playing their has nothing to do with my personal information.
I just wanted see what has changed after long time so installed it. Starred the game.. It asks to access to contact, i denied it It asks to allow to make calls, i denied it It asks to access storage, i denied it. Game doesn't launch and I uninstalled it. i wonder, Whether its game or messenger app?. Why this game wants to gain access of making calls? The issue was rais d to lead GM RC and he ignored it calling it normal practice in games. Chinese are collecting our data as usual. They won't allow you to g t into the game if you don't give access.. Downloaded the game, yet it won't run on mobile data and VPN. Basically wasted my data for non functional app.. Where is my game will not load anyone to help. Still crashing for 3 months have spent a couple 1000 on it still no reply?.
Game crashing and droping me out . Some times freezes too . Good game but problems must be fixed . And please tell me where can i ask about when new server 322 will start . No answer . Nice . The support is horrible the buy events are not as shown purchased items 3 times to try to get certain items they will not give you everything that they say they will contacted support all they do is argue that you were wrong. Reward times for events vary a. They van be taken down at a moments notice an you will lose all your hard work. Huge money pit used to be a great game . Lots of Russians defending the war an are not informed at all about true facts. I really enjiyed playing this game a year or two earlier... Do want to rejoin and start playing again... It is a request to the team if they can let me know when will the new server be launched.... Its good this game has real players and we dnt feel bore but its disadvantage, money element is on large scale so sometimes feel not happy. Overall a addicted game.
I played this game few years ago, and now wanted to reinstall it. But now it required me to give access to contact and gallery. So...no thanks :) re-uninstalled and re-edited my review to give 1 star rating.. Great game, frequent updates, good support. Best game i have found good strategy, on the go all the timer. Join an alliance then it becomes even more fun. Use my invite code and you will receive reward. Enjoy the game. I've played almost 10 years off and on. 7 straight can not quit playing my strongholds got me logging in every day so they want go down. But all and all great game.. Half the time they don't know what they're doing. When you have a problem they have a very hard time understanding you. usually you get frustrated.. Must be from a different country..
The developers want 1 thing, your money. They extremely rarely put up new events and if they do, it's Spending money events. This game turned into the never ending money hole.. simply fantastic, this is what you call personification of greed, despite the game requiring more than 10,000 gold coins to have a decent experience which will easily make your wallet lighter by usd1000, they never bothered implementing a sure way to farm gold coins on a daily basis.. Still play it after all these years! They keep servers fresh, the events always stay fun and updates are frequent. The devs have done a great job keeping it a nice game u can play competitively or in passing.. I remember that I played this game in the past & I did not like it and shame on the owners of the idea also, I do not advise anyone to download it.
Bring the good old 1st version of this game .... If you really want to compete with other game of same segment. You foolish developers don't know the true potential of your old version.. Aowe, won't allow me to open game unless I give them access to my phone contacts, and media files! Shame, shame, shame.. The game is money based game. Only money for designers is important, don't install it, they are lier and game is false game, don't install it.. I lost 59 gold coins around April last year. I sent at least five mails got one response saying they don't understand and another saying I had to find purchase number and send it to them. I did and then they said they will not reimburse! They don't care about me, the little guy that has 40$ in the game. Then 30 gold coins mysteriously disappeared. W.T.F. I put in my hard earned money and I want it back. Someone in my alliance has 2k in this game so b careful..
