I understand having some features locked behind subscription but recording format shouldn't be one of those.. Bring one time a payment to this app. I can't waste $40 for all years. I'm may be enthusiastic vlogger but not professional use and I won't be using for business term.
Yeah the subscription plan won't work for me. Despite bought the app years ago anh now turn out it was free and I can't access to the pro features made me feel that I have been fraud. The viable option for you doesn't means will be for us! Beside the native camera app are improving so I think I had wasted the money buying this app. Not worth it! Pay for the subscription, I rather buy a camera instead.. Can't even use it without agreeing to a free trial that will automatically charge your credit card after seven days. After that, the privilege of using the app will cost you $4.99 a WEEK. These people are out of their minds. They destroyed their own app with their greed. Scam artists.. Not the way to run a business. Paid for the app and now I have to subscribe. So disappointed. It's like you have to pay for your updates now. Paid for full version before. Haven't used the app for a while but when i reinstalled, they change to subscription. Play around with it for a while and concluded that my stock camera works better than this. Uninstalled.. Galaxy s24Ultra Ok. I have the newest Galaxy phone ULTRA version. But it doesn't work with half the stuff in this app. I'm always struggling with this app. The 1080/120 or 240 fps gives me a black screen. The phone itself can shoot this speed in the native app. Filmic is almost not worth the money any more. Your app is made for iPhone. Just stop marketing to us and stealing our money. If I am doing something wrong please tell me.. Samsung S24 user here: The app have some issue for now with zooming when you have select specific lense : purple picture, and the zoom dezooming aren't as smooth as on my pixel. Beside that I'm enable to pair my DJI Osmo 6 with the app beside following all the procedure and resting my gimball. I get in touch with the support, I hope they will quickly address my issue otherwise I I have to ask for a refund because the gimball support are the reason why I took the yearly subscription..
Subscribed to the pro... says my S24 has locked setting and I can try labs if it works. I toggled labs and it works fine. Saved the preset... and then next time i use the app again, i have to turn on Labs again... why?? why is labs toggle not kept? this is annoying.... wish i could get a refund at this point.... Bought this app years ago and now it's subscription based. What a way to loot customers. Wanted to give negative rating, alas.. Bought the app previously for full price years ago. Now, it's asking for an additional subscription fee- not a chance. I am aware the legacy app exists in the app store, however, upon install it simply redirects me to v7 and not v6 (the permanent version I've paid for) and there seems to be no way to bypass this and use the app I rightfully paid for. Very disappointed overall with the devloper's decision to make these sort of moves. I should be allowed to operate the version I bought.. I already paid for the app before they started asking for subscription, now that licence I had disappeared by itself and they started asking me to pay monthly, horrible fraudsters what a horrible company.. Good filming quality but horribly expensive. There is only a weekly subscription option, the entire reason I wanted this app was because I thought it was a one time purchase and own... Really put off by this weekly payment.. For some reason it is not possible to connect my gimbal Dji Osmo Mobile 6, the software just don't see it.. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE, there is NOT a legacy option anymore and they scammed thousands of people out of their money including me. Report the app to the play store immediately. .

I guess I'm a bit late on this but this app is not worth it at all anymore. Filmic Pro was really useful and high quality, hell it probably still is, but now features I already paid for and was able to use are locked behind another paywall. Really unfortunate and shameful.. Bought this in 2017. It was OK but didn't use it much. They since moved to a rental system, updated my version to the rental version, and won't let me install the old version that isn't a rental.. Not supported for android. I have the Samsung S23 Ultra and the features it says is available do not work. For a subscription based camera app, I would have expected a bit more. I have reached out to support and they havent even made the effort to respond.. Paid like 20 bucks for this a few years ago and now re install it to find out I need to pay another $3.50 per week to use it!.

I paid for this app lifetime subscription for a along time and now the app told me to subscripe weekly or yearly. what about the money and my subscription before! This is theft and lack of credibility . Any 1 star review about image quality is from people that don't understand how cameras work. All any app can do is let you manually control things the phone usually does for you. You're not going to become a professional photographer with a $150 phone, but you can take some nice vacation photos with it by playing with the free trial and subbing only when you need it. If you want to be a professional, get professional equipment, period. Good for budding photographers or students for hobby/school.. Previously purchased the full version of this app few years ago and now I go to re-download it only to find out the $15 or so that I had previously spent on it is now meaningless since now it's saying I have to pay for a weekly subscription? SERIOUSLY! As if life wasn't expensive enough they they charge per week? It's not like I'm using their camera or any physical equipment..

I love this app &the fact that it provide one time purchase which even with the price I'm so willing to buy other than those monthly or yearly subscriptions which is I think not good..I love the stabilizing effect it helps my vlogging alot&use this app with my Zhiyun stabilizer. But after I start using iphone and this new update I don't know where my paid version is. It's not in settings more information etc.. You made us pay for an app years ago and now dare to ask a subscription ?? absolutely a rip off ! Do not download this scam!. I had already paid for the app. However, through a series of 15 emails to customer support, I was able to get my access back with no additional charges. I had to download "Filmic Legacy" not Filmic Pro and they gave me a code to log back in. Giving only 3 stars because of how much of a hassle it was for me to get my functioning app back. If they wanted to start charging customers for a new version, they should have made the switch much easier for the existing paid customers.. Another BS subscription model. This used to be the best. No longer. Just another app ruined by greed. It's no surprise that Filmic has gone from 4.5 stars to 1.4. They deserve it..
So I bought this app expecting that features will be unlocked, because it is a paid app, and for some time they were, but now, even video settings and presets are asking for subscription, despite the fact that those were included in the original purchase... Great way to SCAM people, by changing what they already paid for to subscription model, after they can't send a dispute and ask for refund... This used to be one of my favourite apps but now with version 7 the devs have decided that the $20 we all spent wasn't enough. If you bought before v7 you are locked to version 6 and will get no new features or updates. If you want the newest features you are forced to pay a monthly subscription. Yet another developer getting greedy and overpriced, an unsustainable overpriced model for independent film makers with no budget. They laid off their entire staff Nov 23, all development has stopped. Used to be great, now it is no longer supported.. Connection with DJI OM6 doesn't work. The app is unable to find the OM device even if Bluetooth/location are enabled, device on and unpaired. This is WAS all I'd hoped for. INSTALL FILMIC LEGACY IN SETTINGS INFO INSTALL 6 PRO TO GET IT REINSTALLED UNDER FILMIC 7 PRO EXACTLY WHEN, EXACTLY? CLASS ACTION TORT CLAIM OPPORTUNITY, FOLKS! I have witnessed the complaints before when The FILMIC 6 PRO OWNERS STOOD UP TO BE COUNTED!!!.
