The mechanics and gameplay of the game are very much reminiscent of the notorious “Diablo”. Download Powerlust for Android if you are interested in such projects. You play as a nameless hero who once discovered unusual magical abilities after visiting a closed office at the University of Magic. After that, his life changed dramatically. He thought day and night about how to improve his abilities and make himself stronger, and he found a way out. He realized that he needed to fight the dark and dangerous creatures that live in the ancient crypt.
Deciding to use the acquired abilities, the protagonist went to the crypt to fight monsters and thus quench his thirst for strength and power. The game successfully combines elements of a roguelike, RPG, and fast-paced action from an isometric perspective. Most of the game time you will travel through dark dungeons and fight monsters. This game is great! A very balanced classic old school style without all the annoying ads every 2 seconds. You can watch ads, IF YOU WANT, and they give minor rewards like a bit of gold or a free shop refresh but it is nicely balanced so you don't overpower yourself on ad rewards alone. Great job team!. This a great game anda past time. When wifi is on theres no ads at all infact you can see ads only once you watch the ads for certain bonus and additions. Even if offline its still a great past time. Keep up the good work!. really fun game, not much to complain about, definitely ment to be played with a controller though, as the game prompts you to hit buttons labeled y and x.. i feel like im playing a nostalgic pc game, this game is great im having a great time playing and strategizing.. In early stage of the game but so far loving it! Sorry I have no real feedback to gove you except that so far in game is very fun and it reminded me a lot of cult classics like Titan Quest .
At first I thought it was gonna be slow and I thought it would have a few attacks...to make it fun fun put all types of monsters more powers and attacks fast past action game I haven't played controller yet. Pretty good so far, except the ads. Even if you donate, you still have to watch the ads if you want the full amount of gold.. Great early/1.0 version of game. Classic hack n slash, diablo 2 style, w the variety and blending of attacks and magic of like, magicka wizard wars or closer to Parh of Exile perhaps. Great, quick time suck though, until story and other modes are polished it's basically an infinite random gen dungeon crawl though... but, I mean, that's 99% of what we do in diablos, poes and the like, right?. I'm not very far into the game, but based on what I've seen, it's incredibly fun, it's just I don't know if there's a mount or a way to get around a little faster, if there isn't, you should implement a system.
Only thing I don't like is the view is above the battles. It's better when battling face to face to see all the cool creatures your fighting..... thanks Bart. I'm officially a Baron now.. ! EDIT .. i went ahead and bought the $20 upgrade package, then right after finished the game... there might be more game coming , but honestly if I knew how short the game was , I would not have put $20 into it.. Update: I initially rated this one star, because I couldn't create a character. Happy to report the developers fixed this issue and the gameplay is... AWESOME. Thank you for fixing the game. Great hack and slash game.. Pretty good hack and slash, considering it's a one-dev game. Gets repetitive after a while, and seems line some classes are way stronger than others, but I had fun trying every class and bringing a couple to level 30.. Really fun game. Easy to control and lots of quests to do. No pop-ups. Great graphics and equipment to both equip and use,or sell. I only just started but have leveled up quite a few times and can't wait to play more. Finally you have put out a great,(underline great!) game that doesn't require a Internet connection. Thanks so much. I will definitely give it five stars and also give five BIG stars to all who made it. Good job! I'll be watching for more game from this developer an tell my friends. It has potential to be a good no wifi game still undecided whether to keep it or not I will wait for story mode to be made to make a decision then if I like it will either write better review or delete it hopefully next update will have story mode in it interested how that goes with the name Heretic Gods should have a great story behind that wonder how it will unfold wonder if it will be open world type game look forward to finding out when I find out pretty much lol. This game is awesome I love the combat of the game and that I also like the feel that this game gives off like a Diablo feel type arpg, another thing I enjoy about this game is the more skill based combat as opposed to meta this and that, and the best part about this game is that there's no stupid energy/fuel system that puts the game to halt so that you have to pay just to continue playing the game overall while yeah there may be some flaws with the game I recommend this to anyone. I love this game. It's honestly one of the best mobile games I've played. The only thing I wish was different is that you can't currently use the same character for dungeon and story mode (at least as far as I can tell). If I could do that this would be the only 5 star mobile game for me.. I like the graphics and sound effects, but it needs a little bit of more work on the open world part. Playability isn't too bad either. Not bad for a game created by one guy, but needs work to get to the Exiled Kingdoms level..
The game keeps going back to the main screen when the game states that the game is compatible with my operations of my phone.. I have been hunting for a game like this for a long time. I've only been playing a short while and so far I love it. Easy controls. And I like that you move at a good pace. I can't wait till I get deeper into the game....I'm playing the doungen part first. Thank you developers for a so far great game... I don't usually leave reviews for any thing bit I am LOVING this game, it gives me that Diablo 1 feel, but it runs smooth on my S22 and I'm using a Atom game controller, I can play this for hours honestly and never get bored. Have some time.in the dungeon side of the game but will be putting more time into the story. I like this game for how basic and uncomplicated it is but it has 0 depth to it, there's no good level design, no story or anything besides default game models, which is good enough if you want to play it for 5-10 minutes on a lunch break without having to learn some intricate game mechanics, which this game simply doesn't have..
Nice game. Difficulty isn't well balanced, dungeon mode is way too hard at the beginning, and story mode is way too easy! Also not dynamic enough. I would like to move and attack at the same time, like most modern hack and slash, and that enemies had a little bit more complex patterns (different attacks, move sideways instead of right to you, hide and ambush...) But for a one man team it's very impressive!. The game is great and the graphic is good but if it has little bit of gore in it, it would be much better. Overall, i really love this game.. I like the cobat,effects, level design a lot of effort put into this , considering it's a small team , congratulations , keep doing a great job. I really recommend this game!! I really good rpg game I liked it very much and looking forward to more stories and quest Didn't lag even a bit in my device Easy UI and very fun to play..
Before the story mode, I had finished the whole dungeon, reaching even too the final boss, although it's still a great game to play!. Nice game, 5 stars for sure I'm still testing, and the only bug I've met so far isn't so relevant, It would have been better if classes have some specific advantages, like, melee type gains Exp quicker, staff-ed players have pet, something like that But I'm already satisfied with it now. Oh one displaisant matter, there are no back button, why? I have to ragequit every time I want to exit. Just revised my review and gave it 5 stars because of the new story mode! I know it's still in development, but it's great! The game play is great, especially with the combat joysticks. Graphics are great!. Hoping that warrior class have different skill set. Fencer, berseker, pikeman and shield bearer have the same skills kinda bored. Great game keep it up.
Everything that I look for in a mobile game, fun to play, looks good, runs well, no pay to win, no forced ads, no daily quests or resources needed to play pressuring you to play all the time, offline play and a developer who seems passionate about the game.. When I downloaded this game I thought can't be true most free games are pay to win or have ads after ads during play. Well I was surprised and have enjoyed playing the game, the only ads are for rewards such as gold which I watched because I wanted to upgrade my armour and skills. A feature I like is I can change the level of the enemy to get better drops. Keep up the good work mate.. I've only been playing a few days but so far it has been a great game. One of the things I like about it is I don't have to summon 782 other characters to come along with me.. The game is good, BUT... When using the controller (mocute) it's not responding as it should. Can't press Skills aside from normal attacks (L1).
I love this game, I may have to start over though, read the hints unless you want to figure it out,in my opinion it's the best RPG I've played I like the graphics it's an all around fun game,plenty of excitement.. What?! This game was just created by one person?! What a professional . This game was too good for one person. Even a team can't make this perfect game. Plus this game support gamepad. But, it's annoying that button on the screen isn't disapper when using gamepad. Turning on "Hide UI" options make me can't know how much my health and energy. This is best rpg in playstore. The update will make it insane!! Edit: I lost my progress when i restoring cloud data. Please help.... This is nostalgia! Takes me back to the days of diablo 1 and dungeon siege 1. Brilliant RPG and what's most impressive is that this is a 1 man created game. Absolutely brilliant game and to top it off a solo production. Looking forward to future content. I'm sure I'll spend some money to help the cause. Thank you Bart keep up the amazing production. The only problem I have is when I try to watch a ad and get the reward from the stranger in town. About half the time the ad freezes and I have to restart the game. Other than that I really like the game..
As an avid POE fan this is a mobile experience somewhat close. The build trees are nice with no invasive ads. Overall good experience so far!. Repetitive. If you set the difficulty high to compensate, all you do is die in boss fights; losing all your gold. Either you kill everything on screen or you just die. Not well thought out.. since I am a lore-enthusiast gamer, I will rated this game 4 stars, for now. If dev could expand the story, make interactions with NPCs richer I will not hesitate to rate this 5 stars. And I heard the dev likes exiled kingdoms, if it's true then you know how sparse people are in this game compared to that (I know it's not fair). If only this game has more interactible NPCs, it will be perfect.. Fun...well done! Edit...one thing that would be extremely helpful is a second or third ability control set to interchange out on the fly so can set multiple configurations. Hard to only have 5 abilities accessible and replace each ability in combat etc. A button to cycle through sets would be great! Just a thought. Thanks!.
A very good game, although controls seem to be difficult at times. A game pad or game grip is almost needed as you progress deeper into it. There's still a few bugs but, as the developer keeps reminding, it is still a work in progress. Hoping the game will not lose its focus on what makes it good.. It's a game that's fun to hack, and slash reminds me of one of my favorite games when I was a kid .. It's a very nice game in my opinion. Need to improve the characters, Add some HEDAN Quest, I bilive there will be somay new updates in future Best of luck . Powerlust has been a fun game so far. I like the customization in classes you can create, I made a fire mage glass cannon with minions, my brother is making a paladin. I recommend this game. Edit- coming back to the game, Bart is doing a great job! I'm enjoying the storyline so far! I'm excited to be playing again. (lost my first account) five Stars!.
A perfect game for Rpg lovers Jist like Me but there are many more Improvements to be made like secret classes and secret legendary weapons and also I'm Waiting for the story to continue. Overall 4 stars thank you.. I would appreciate it if an additional features is added in the settings like reducing effects/particles, turn on/corpse, etc. Overall it's Great . The Game is totally good i enjoy playing without a network connection and even there's some bugs but it's still fine i love graphics, hope after the next update it will be more enjoyable. Hasn't played much yet but loving the feel of this game very clean gameplay. Woke highly recommend for lovers of this genre of game. Works great offline hasn't gone any limitations yet..
Keep up the good work man it's a really good game to play offline so keep it up and don't overdo yourself.. Excellent gaming experience! As a Baron, I love the blood gore effect and the different camera angles that can be selected. If possible, when selecting blood gore effect, make the camera a bit further than the character for easier detection and aiming of enemies from sides and back.. So far, the game is incredible! For one guy to do this, you definitely feel that his heart and soul are in it. The game is immersive and fun. There are multiple, if not hundreds, of combinations of class mechanics to try. The marketing in the game is brilliant as well. Everything is free, and you just have to complete what are essentially mini quests to unlock the different classes. Or do you? You can choose ANY class and still be any other class in the game! Highly recommend! 100/100. Great game, impressive graphics. Small issue is the game is too short but other than that it's one of the best offline games I've ever experienced in a while. Keep up the good work .
Great little hack and slash game, very generous with the drops, open character creation, graphics are good, just a well thought out game. Simple and fun. I love it.. I just started playing yesterday, and I can't believe that the game is mostly free to play! Bart has made Powerlust completely enjoyable to play. I have one problem with the game. The first one is with the control of the joystick. It is a small red dot surrounded by a large black circle. I suggestions are to get rid of the black circle and make the red dot a little bigger and move it closer to the left side of the screen.. Hello Bart. So far the game is quite amazing. I really enjoy the lack of greed you display. Classy approach. Thanks for that.. I like this game. Playing while waiting smth for half an our to spend the time enjoying.
